TW: Mentions of doing cannibalism and murder.

the leaves of the spruce trees brushed a fluffy light grey she-cat's fur, the she-cat snored deeply but quietly.

"Dandelion?" A voice called that sounded like a murmur.

Dandelion still snored deeply, it seemed like she didn't hear the cat call her name, Dandelion rolled over onto her back and continued to sleep.

"Dandelion?" The voice sounded closer.

"Dandelion!" The voice sounded loud and clear.

"Wha- huh?" Dandelion mewed.

Her eyes blinked awake and she saw a skinny black she-cat.

"Eclipse? Why did you wake me up?" Dandelion yawned.

"Um...Abalone is calling a meeting and he told me to get you" Eclipse muttered.

Dandelion got up to her paws and Eclipse lead the way, Dandelion was close behind her.

Ugh...What is Abalone going to talk about now? Dandelion thought.

The two she-cats had finally reached a clearing with a fallen down log a few tail lengths away from them, the clearing was filled with cats of different colors.

"Quiet down! The last two cats are here!" the cat on the log called.

All the cats quieted down, Dandelion and Eclipse found a spot to sit and listened to the cat.

"Now, as I have told you before, the clan cats are expanding their borders" The cat started.

Dandelion sighed.

I just wish Abalone would just be nicer to the clans... She thought.

"We will be training harder and better so we can have our place in the clans, we will not be excluded just because we are small!" Abalone yowled.

The crowd of cats chanted with excitement, but Dandelion just looked down.

"Any clan cat that dares to come onto our territory will be ripped apart, no questions asked" Abalone snarled.

"And...if you don't like these rules, then you are considered unloyal and will be killed.."

Abalone glared at Dandelion.

The crowd of cats stared at her.

"Now, Dandelion, I knew you wouldn't like these rules from the start, but it is what we must do" Abalone snarled as he slithered down from the log to face Dandelion.

Dandelion gulped.

"But...You have a choice to leave this place and never come back, or...we could tear you apart and eat your remains" Abalone hissed.

"Rip her apart!"

"Rip her apart!"

The cats chanted.

"What is your choice?" Abalone asked.

"I- um..." Dandelion murmured.

Dandelion looked at Eclipse, the she-cat just looked down.

"No...I'm staying, I can't leave my best friend..." Dandelion mewed.

"Alright then, kill her" Abalone hissed as he backed away.

The crowd of cats closed in on Dandelion, but Eclipse stayed in her place. Dandelion backed away, she had reached the bushes that led into her den and she decided to make a run for it.

"I can't die now, I can't die now...no...no" Dandelion whispered to herself.

Dandelion was sure that the cats had trailed behind until something or someone had jumped onto her back, Dandelion fell to the ground.

"I'm sorry...Dandelion" A familiar voice mewed.

"Wait! Eclip-"

Dandelion heard a loud snap and everything went black.
