WHAT JUST HAPPENED!
Toni Topaz just admitted she still loves me.
My TT still loves me.
CHERYL SNAP OUT OF IT!
I've been standing in the exact same place, thinking about what just happened. Toni just proclaimed that she loves me... ON MY WEDDING DAY!
I finally unfroze and turned around to look in the mirror. I just stared at my reflection, reminiscing on what happened. I slowly placed my hand on my cheek, the cheek Toni kissed. I couldn't help but smile at thought of Toni's actions, I kind of wished she went for the lips instea-
THAT'S ENOUGH CHERYL!!
OMG Minerva
What am I gonna do?
It's our wedding day. She's right now at the alter waiting for me, while I'm thinking about my ex girlfriend.
Why am I thinking about Toni right now?
I got over her already.
Am I starting to develop feelings for her again?
Did my feelings for her ever go away?
My thoughts were interrupted with my dad.
"You ready for this Angel?" he asked with a smile on his face. I can see that his nervous for this. He was always frightened of letting me go because I've always been his little girl.
"I'm ready," I replied. I actually don't know if I'm ready after listening to Toni. But I didn't want to show my father my worries, so I walked up to him and gave him the biggest hug.
"I can't believe my baby girl is finally getting married," he started, "You're an adult now petal. My baby girl is growing up," he added with a few tears coming out.
"Awww dad," I expressed, "I'll always be your baby girl," I said smiling at him.
He took a deep breath, gave me one last big smile and linked our arms together. We headed out of the dressing room and stood just outside the hall.
Here goes nothing.
I hear an organ play and people started standing up. There's Minerva at the front next to the wedding officiant, smiling at me. I gave her a little smile back then started to look around me. There's so many people here, we really did go all out with this wedding. I see my mum at the front looking proud and having a few tears in her eyes. I see all my friends on the right side of me, giving me happy and proud smiles. But one person caught my eye in particular.
Toni.
She was sitting next to Betty with her eyes glued on my dress, not wanting to look at me. Suddenly, she looks up and our eyes locked onto each other. My breathing became softer and I slowly became calmer as my muscles relaxed. There is something about her gaze that I will never find in another woman. I haven't felt this much of a spark when looking at someone, not even with Minerva.
What felt like an eternity just lasted milliseconds as Toni and I looked away from each other and the bridge of our souls collapsed. Her facial expression after that was completely blank. I turned back to Minerva and smiled at her.
I finally reached the front of the alter and my dad removed the veil off my face and kissed my cheek.
"Love you petal," he said about to leave to sit next to my mum.
"Love you too dad," I replied. I was now standing in front of Minerva with our hands intertwined.
"You look beautiful," she shared giving me a big smile.
"Thank you," I replied. She looks so happy right now and I'm here feeling confused.
The officiant began, "We are gathered here today to celebrate the very special love between Cheryl and Minerva, by joining them in marriage".
