Hey everybody!! This is your good pal, Euphoria Norrie! ...What? You don't know me? Goodness it's been a while since somebody last said that to me. Well, I am the being that

I'd like to take a moment of your time to discuss a few things that people often get wrong when they try to fight a demon.

First, demons are based off of and structurally build like a human. The only difference between them and an average human is their physical traits and heightened power level that is manifest through those physical traits.

An example of a trait that is unique to demons is their spade tails. These are extremely sharp on their own and pose a challenge to those who aren't wary of it. Now, most average demons will have at least one of these, but advanced demons can either have no tails or more than one. Demons with more than one tail often signify higher power levels than that of an average demon.

Demons have around 3 traits that can manifest depending on how strong they are. They can manifest horns, wings, and tails; each of them having a separate purpose. Horns show magic power and affinity, wings allow flight and extra mobility, and tails show their dexterity.

For a hunter, all of these traits need to be taken into account. If even one trait is disregarded, you can be killed within seconds of coming into contact with a demon. The amount of horns can show you the amount of magic that can be controlled by the demon. The amount of tails normally signifies how hard they are to knock over, and normally if there are more tails, it means that they are more defense focused. These give you an edge by letting you know what to expect.

Putting the facts aside, now we get to how to engage a demon. First, when you come into contact with a demon, the most effective strategy is to scope them out. Y'know, hide behind a rock or something and watch them like one of those creepy stalkers. When you know the limits of the demon you either provoke if you can take them, or run if you can't. However, running is lame and makes you look like a coward, so I wouldn't suggest it.

Now, when you have engaged the demon, you have to take into account the weakness that it has. Is the demon a slowpoke that you can dodge and run around quite easily? Take advantage and strike with your speed. Is the demon a crybaby that is overemotional? Take advantage and attack it's feelings (actually that goes for just about any race, not just demons).

I give this advise because I've seen too many morons underestimate a demon and fight without a strategy. To compare it to something, it would be like running directly at someone who has armor and a sword when you only have clothes and you fists. Unless your fist is hella strong, it isn't penetrating the armor, and the dude with the armor is gonna mow you down like you're made of grass while he admires the smell of newly cut grass.

Now I'm not one for strategy, but I know that defense is not a good way to beat a demon. Demons aren't just wild animals (though it'd be cool if they'd let you ride them around like a horse or someone giving a piggyback ride...). They have a consciousness and while it seems they don't use it much, they can adapt to the situation. Many people choose to ignore this fact and instead charge in, thinking that their one strategy of defense or offense is enough to stop a demon.

Anyway, you're probably wondering why I'm telling you how to fight a demon. There's a good explanation, I promise. It's because I am constantly having to fight them. The nerve of the bastards invading the human nations for who knows what reason. It's outrageous, and I don't even have a say in the matter. I was just told to— oh, I should probably leave that part for later.

Assuming you are interesting in how this plays out, feel free to continue on and read how a few idiots decided to wake me up and spring me with the worlds biggest responsibility.
