Shoto slid the door open and took a seat beside Akira on the floor who was eating some cookies. Akira was too fixated at the television to notice Shoto beside him. He was watching a movie. Shoto was about to put his hand on his shoulder when he noticed something odd about Akira.
"Lightning?" He questioned.
Akira who was actually Lightning slightly tilted his head to Shoto. "Wait you're right." He inspected his own clothes and noticed his lightning symbol on his watch.
"You still have a hard time controlling them?" Shoto took one cookie and ate peacefully. If he was being honest, Lightning was one of the elemental that he could tolerate and he kinda like Lightning's personality.
"I think so too." Lightning huffed a sigh and changed the channel to the night news using the remote controller beside him.
"Say, Akira. Don't you want to go to school?" The question popped out of nowhere and Lightning was caught off guard.
"School? But I'm not even from here." Lightning forced a chuckle. He seemed to avoid the topic even though deep in his heart, he would love to experience school rather than staying home and practice the same thing every day.
"Maybe by going to school, it might trigger your memories?" Shoto stated his opinion and that actually breath out some hope to Lightning. His eyes were shining, secretly agreeing with the idea.
"We can't go to the same school though because you need to pass the exam and so on." Shoto added and Lightning yelped in despair. "Of course." Lightning smiled with a tear in the corner of his eye. The last piece of cookie got eaten by Shoto so Lightning volunteered to refill them and walked to the kitchen.
As soon as Akira left, Shoto switched his attention to the television, watching the news.
"A rising villain group that just recently appear in the city seems to have a devil plan. One of the member was almost caught but he got away. One thing that the polices could confirm is, every one of them has a green tattoo somewhere in their body."
In the kitchen, Lightning opened the cookies jar. He was too focused in his thought about his conversation with Shoto to not realise Fuyumi behind him. "A-Ki-Ra!" Fuyumi hugged him from behind to surprise the boy which she did successfully.
"Nee-chan!" Lightning jumped and he clenched on his chest, trying to calm down.
"I'm sorry." Fuyumi giggled and took a seat on the chair. She took a glass that was already there and filled it with water that's also there in a jar.
