Chapter 1

It had to be done.

I watched with a cold glare at it.

Black smoke covered the blue clear sky I always stared at with wonder. The sky that I have spent hours and hours glaring at it now was tainted.

Fire has taken over the house. It screamed, greedily eating everything, showing no mercy. Red and orange sparks exploded even more, brighting the dark sky.

Now I think about it, fire isn't always bad. In some cases, like mine, the fire helped me in searching for the past me. I have decided burning my house to get rid of everything. I'm going to search for my memories yet creating a new life for myself to settle down. I'm not going to sit there on a chair waiting for my forgotten camera-eye shots till I die.

I stood there, from a quite distance, watching as villagers began panicking and helping each other in putting down the dancing demons that are resisting. Few raindrops began falling from the black clouds that were filled with water.

Rain began hitting the earth fast, and in every minute, the rain becomes much harsher. I stopped for a moment and put up my white umbrella, walking away from the magnificent sight.

"Amira!" My aunt screamed at me, scared. I look at my left to see her running to me holding her plain, old dress,

"Amira.." She breathed out,

"Did you do... do this?" She asked me.

One thing I wondered is that, why is she calm? I burned her sister's family home and her only family member is leaving for good.

"Yes, I did this." I spoke, my heart frozen, unemotional, and empty, waiting for something or even someone to keep it full and happy as it used to be.

When I replied, her eyes showed complete betrayal. I closed my eyes and sighed, not in the mood for any drama that's not needed.

She stared at me for a whole minute.

Not wanting to break the eye contact, I, too, stared back.

"......W-Why?" She asked shocked with a shaky voice.

Her mouth slightly opened. A tint of fear passed in her eyes.

I smirked, enjoying everything.

Her facial expression, the citizens yell, the fire, everything.

Cutting the mini staring contest, I moved my head back to straight, not facing her.

"Why? I felt like it." I simply answered her question.

I heard her gasp loudly. "You aren't the same person I used to love!" Ignoring her,

I yelled out loud,

"Bye bye, auntie and you better change that dress, I could see everything~"

Then I ran, disappearing to nowhere yet everywhere.
