We were thrown of the memory to the floor roughly. I yelped of the impact of my back hitting the hard ground.
"This is too easy. We're being played. This is a trap!" Hakuryuu's eyes observed our surroundings.
"Meow."
My ears perked. We swiftly turned our heads to meet the voice.
And there lied a turtle.
A. Freaking. Turtle.
"CUUUUTEEEE!!"
I squealed and ran towards it with an incredible speed.
"Amira, no!"
The turtle silently raised it front leg slowly, and slapped me with it. The impact appearently was so strong that I flew backwards hitting a wall.
"Amira!" They yelled in panic.
I coughed out blood, and it was tickling down my chin, giving me a dark look.
Morgiana stood in front of me, in a defensive stance. Alibaba got his dagger out, squinting his eyes,
"What kind of turtles meows?"
"Oii, don't hurt it. It's mine. I'm going to take with me." I grinned, widening my eyes sadistically.
"Woah, Amira-onee-chan looks cool, ne, Alibaba?"
Aladdin glanced to Alibaba, who was shaking.. In fear? No.. He was shaking in-
"I want to fight too!" Alibaba clutched his fists determinedly with burning eyes. "I'm not letting Amira have all the spotlights!"
-excitment.
He ran steadily to block an attack with his dagger, "Amon!" Fire bursted, claiming the dagger. "Amira, finish the memories! I'm going to take care of this one."
I flipped my hair dramatically and sighed, "Fine.. Hakuryuu, Aladdin come with me. Morgiana back him up!"
"Wait, I don't need-!"
Morgiana kicked Alibaba in the face. "Yes, you do."
I look at Aladdin and Hakuryuu as we all reached a memory.
"Ready?"
"I have been born ready!"
"SHUT UP! SHUT THE HELL UP!" Daichi screamed at his family.
"YOU EXPECT ME TO GET OVER THIS? WHAT KIND OF FAMILY ARE YOU?!"
His mother stepped in, "It been four years, Daichi.."
Her eyes filled with sadness.
All of them lost hope three years ago on rescuing his lover.
His family,
her family,
their friends,
everyone,
except Daichi.
He was still being resolved. He will never give up.
It was Mayleen's father turn now,
"Daichi, I understand your feelings but it's time to move o-."
"Oi, are you really her father? Are you?! A father will not stop loving his daughter. A father will not lose hope on his daughter. A father will not tell his daughter's fiancé to fucking move on his daughter!"
He was on the edge.
Everybody was pushing him down, but he stood still. Insanity was drooling in starvation, it wanted a new body to control and live, and their families were offering Daichi to devour him.
Every time, Insanity caught his ankle to swallow him, he burned it off. His mind was the only thing keeping him sane and safe. The incident left deep scars on his heart.
Scars that can never be healed.
