Introduction to Polaris

Welcome to Polaris.

Nobody is quite sure of what Polaris is. A planet, a world, a dimension. It was believed to have started as a land of ice, trillions of years ago. All we know is that there is no way out and that we must listen to the rules if we want to stay alive.

The rules:

1. Stay away from Terra Amissa, the land of the lost.
2. To achieve this, do not enter the woods. The woods act as a barrier between us and Terra Amissa. Some of 'the lost' make it into the woods, but the trees will be rid of them before they reach Polaris. In the event of entering the woods, never ask the trees how they kill the lost.
3. If somebody offers you tea, drink it.
4. Purple tea will kill you.
5. Cats with wings are the only safe cats, they have been blessed by angels.
6. Be nice to your shadow, it can roam free between 2:33am and 3:33am. Most are mischievous but won't kill you, much like the pixies.
7. Don't enter the ball pit, there are nearly always goblins.
Note- Only the DeFiance, or other creatures in possession of such robotic eyes, can see monsters.
8. When the sky is pink, stay in your house and cover all windows. Blackout curtains are advised to prevent hysteria.
9. When in your house, look out of a window once an hour or else you may be in a different place entirely when you next check. This does not apply when the sky is pink.
10. Only enter train carriages with grass flooring.
11. Ignore the red pixies; don't listen to anything they say and do not look at them. They will eventually leave you alone.
12. Yellow pixies can imitate your loved ones. Remember it is a ruse, nobody is here to save you.
13. When you see crows, run. Crows are a warning. Note- Crows will not come out when it is raining. When it is raining, stay inside as all rain is acid rain here.
14. Do not enter the playground, you'll never leave.
15. They are always watching.
