JADE POV:

Jade groans as she heard her alarm on her phone blare.

It was Jade's first day at her school in Atlanta after moving from Virginia.

She was nervous, she hates meeting new people..as it makes her nervous.

But she hated staying in the house, and with no friends..that was her only option.

So of course she went.

Before heading out the door she grabs her house keys, her phone, her purse and her book bag.

She was reaching for the door knob when she heard her mother say

"WE HAVE TO GET PICTURES, YOURE A FRESHMAN, IM SO PROUD"

Jade replied to her mother.

" No ma'am, it's too early"

"Jade come take this picture rn"

She deeply sighed, and went to let her mother take the pictures.

*23 Mins Later*

"Okay mom that's enough, can we go now"

"Of course, and you look so pretty when you smile my love"

The car ride seemed so short.

Jade arrived at school and her heart started racing.

Butterflies.

But she knew she had to get over her fear one way or the other.

So she put on her poker face, opened the door and kissed her mom goodbye.

"Do you have your keys, you know i won't be home this after noon"

"Yes i do mom, see you later. LOVE YOU"

"Love you too my love"

Jade walks into the school.

"How tf am i lost already?"
"And why tf are people staring?"

She wandered until a girl walked up to her and asked is she needed help.

"Yes i do, please."

"Okay it says you have geometry, Ms.Estelle..which is not even on this floor"

They both look at each other and burst out laughing.

The girl shows Jade to her class.

"And i didn't catch your name?"

"Oh my name is Aniyah, but you can call me ni.

"Well thank you so much ni, i'm jade btw"

"Oh it was no problem honestly, hope you enjoy your first day"

"I'll try, lol"

Jade walks into the class and everyone's head turns.

She checked her apple watch and she wasn't late.

But everyone stared and whispered.

She didn't really care though, she kinda like the attention.

The teacher walked up to her.

"Welcome young lady, you must be jade"

"How did you know ?"

"Your student ID"

"You can have a seat next to vivian"

"Who's that ?"

"Vivian raise your hand"

Jade watches as vivian raises her hand, she was shook, she hadn't seen her at first but now she's glad she did.

Jade took her seat proudly.

30 mins into class and she was so bored

Next thing she knew vivian tapped her shoulder.

"Do you have a pencil?"

"It's the first day..and you don't have a pencil ?"

"It's a yes or no, didn't really need the extra comment"

"No, i dont"

Jade zips up her pencil pouch back up and focused back to the front.

"MMCHT" she heard viv say behind her.

The bell rang and it was time for their next class.

As she steps her foot out the door, she feels someone grab her wrist.

She turns around about to swing.

"WHO THE FU-"

Vivian caught her hand.

"Damn, chill out."

"Just letting you know you dropped your pencil"

Jade mean mugs her.

"Keep it, you might need it"

Jade snatched her hands, mugged vivian again and walked out of the class.

Jade finished her day at school, she got on the bus and went home.

Her mother wasn't there like she stated earlier.

So jade took a shower, did her homework, and went to sleep to repeat her routine tommorrow.
