I woke up to Lucas holding me. I know I was mad but I shouldn't take it out on him. I love him and I can't be mad at my boyfriend. "Riley." He whispered. "Yes." I rolled over to face him. "I'm sorry!" I sat up. "About what?" He grabbed my hands. "I was a real jerk and I wasn't supportive of you." He told me. "You were supportive and I was just a bitch!" I kissed him. "Where is Emma?" I asked him. "In her room!" He told me pointing to her room. I got up out of bed. "Can you get Emma ready?" I asked walking into the bathroom. "For what?" Lucas asked. "We are going out!" I closed and locked the door to the bathroom. I took my clothes off and hopped into the shower. After 10 minutes of having a nice warm shower I got out and got changed. Lucas and Emma were already waiting for me in the living room. "Okay let's go!" I told them.

It was a short walk to my parents house. When we got there I walked to the door. "Stay out here guys!" I told them as I rang the doorbell. My dad answered. "Riley!" He said giving me a hug. "Come in honey!" I walked in and sat on the couch. My mom came into the living room completely ignoring me. "So what do you want for dinner Corey?" She asked my dad. "Well I want you to talk to our daughter!" He told her. "Oh well I'm not serving that tonight or anytime soon!" She said not even turning around. "Mom why do you hate me? I didn't me- "enough Riley! I am mad because you went behind my back and had sex!" She yelled. "Well it's not my fault mom I didn't know I was gonna get pregnant and even if I did I couldn't do anything about it!" I stood up. "You could have gave her up for adoption and I know it would have been hard but so what I had to do it!" Everyone in the room froze. "You mean we have another sibling?" Auggie came out. "Mommy I have another brother or sister?" My mom looked at my dad. "Well yes um his name is Colin and um- "you gave our brother up for adoption? Why would you do that? He was your son!" I was so mad. "I had too! I was 15 and my mother wouldn't have let me keep the baby because I was not responsible enough!" I stared at her. "So you think just because you had to means that I have to! Well your wrong because I don't have to it is my life and my child!" She ran up to me and gave me a huge hug. "I know and I'm sorry honey I just want my baby girl back!" She told me. "Mom I would have never left if you wouldn't have kicked me out!" She cried. "I know and I'm sorry!" She got up. "I'm sorry!" I hugged auggie and my dad. "I have to go." I walked out the door crying. "What's wrong?" Lucas asked grabbing me in a hug. I nuzzled my head into his neck smelling his cologne.

The walk home was quite and I was happy about that because it gave me time to think. "I have a brother?" I kept whispering to myself. When I got home I climbed into my bed and fell asleep.
I found his address in the phone book. I went to the door. I knocked and nobody answered. I opened the door. "Hello? Is anyone home?" I walked further into the dark house. "Is anyone there?" I heard a rattling sound. "Hello Colin? Is that you?" I heard the noise again. "Colin it's me Riley! Where are you?" I heard some whispers in the darkness. "Right here Riley! Turn in the light!" I slowly walked over to the light switch. I flicked it on and In front of me stood a short boy with blood all over his face. He was missing many teeth and he was missing an eye. He was holding a long sharp knife in his hands. "Colin what are you doing?" I asked moving back. "Oh nothing." He told me rubbing the knife with his hands. "Colin please!" I yelled running into a wall. "Colin no!" I felt a sharp pain in my left side. I looked down and seen blood gushing out of my side. "Colin!"
"Riley!" I opened my eyes and seen Lucas. "What's wrong baby?" He pulled me into his lap. "I-I had a-a d-dream!" I cried. "C-Colin had had a-a knife a-and he he s-s-stabbed me!" Lucas cuddled me close to him. I snuggled my nose into his neck. "It will be ok! It was just a dream!" He reassured me. "Let's go back to sleep."
