As we ran out the door and jumped in the car, the gun went off. Ana drove off in a flash before we even new where the bullet hit. The car was silent but Ana's breathing was heavy, she finally said something to me but she sounded mad " what the hell happened? Why was he beating you? Does he know your gonna have a baby? Has he done this before? why didn't you tell anyone?" They were all great questions but I only had a few answers.
She looked at me " answer me magan!" " yes he has done it before, I didn't tell anyone because its none of there damn business what goes on in my life. And yes I told him I was pregnant, I don't wanna talk" I said. " I need to take you to the hospital, I'm not letting you go back to that house!" She said Ina stern voice. I didn't want anyone to know about this but at this point me fighting with her to not make me go to the hospital was useless.
Ana's phone went off and I just stared out the window " yes, umm I don't know if now is a good time. Ofcoarse I understand, sir yes but, yes ill be there" she hung up the phone. "Megan, that was my boss and apparently they really need me to be there.They gave me an hour and then I have to g-"
"I understand just drop me off at the under bridge fountain" I said. Her voice sounded sad "I'm still bringing you to the hospital, then ill drop you off there and ill pick you up right after work.You can go and buy your self some new cloths ill give you money." "I don't want your money, when you drop me out at the fountain I will walk to the bus stop,it will take me to moms road." I said.
