(CAMILOS POV)

It was the day of y/ns gift ceremony, I could tell she was nervous because she didn't talk much since we woke up this morning.

It was a few hours until the guest would arrive.

She went to her bags and pulled out two dresses one was white and light blue and the other was white  and 'f/c'.

"What do you think? Which one?" She asked.

I knew what her favorite color was so I pointed to the one with it.

"Okayy good idea I'll be back." She said and went into my bathroom to change.

She walked back out to show me.

"Good?" She asked and I nodded.

"You look amazing," I said kissing her,
"So you want me to do you hair?" I asked and she nodded.

She sat at my desk chair on her phone.

"Do you want me to braid it or something different?"
"you can braid?"
"Yes I used to do my moms"
"Yes you can braid it." She said and I did what she asked and braided her hair.

When I was done we went down stairs she went to do something with Mirabel and i helped to finish setting up, Abelua needed me to shapshift to put things up.

After I was told to go with y/n greet people like we did at Antonio's ceremony.

Once everyone was inside I was in the back with y/n, Tia Julieta, Tio Agustin, Tio bruno and my parents.

"Okay you ready?" Tia said and y/n nodded.

"I'm nervous but yes I'm ready!" Y/n said.

"I'll be at your door." I said and then I gave her a hug and a kiss on her cheek.

She went behind a curtain and I went up to where her door was with my parents, Tia and my Tio's.

The curtain opened and revealed y/n standing fiddling with her fingers as everyone clapped, she locked eyes with me and then smiles and began walking.

She smiled the whole way up to her door.
She was with Abelua now.
"Will you serve this community and strengthen our home" she said and y/n nodded then Abelua moves out of the way so y/n could get to her door, she looked over at me nervous and I nodded.

She touched the doorknob and it started glowing,the door y/n on it with "faces" but you could only see ones with tears and ones with smiles.

"I don't feel anything.." y/n said softly to Abelua.

Suddenly I went from feeling happy to feeling sad. Out of no where I just started crying and y/n looked over to me
"What's wrong? What happened?"

"I don't know I'm not even sad I just started crying."

"Wait hold on.." she said and then I felt happy.

"Whoa!" She said in shock she did it.
"I have emotion control!"

"We have a new gift!" Abelua said and everyone clapped.

She opened her door and inside there was a big bed and there was paintings of the same kind of faces on her door but there were lots of different emotions and there were lots of different colors on everything.

"Everyone come let's take a picture!" Abelua said I stood next you y/n and Mirabel.

"La familia madrigal!" We all said and took the picture.

After that I grabbed y/ns hand and hugged her.

"I'm so happy for you." I said putting my face into her neck in the hug.

"I feel so lucky to have gotten a gift"

I pulled away, then I kissed her.
We heard a clicking noise and turned our heads.

Basically our whole family was there with the camera in Dolores hands.

"Hey! How many times?" I askedand y/n was blushing from embarrassment.
" You guys are so cute!" My mom said.
"Ikr!" Mirabel and Dolores said at the same time.
"Can you guys ever leave us alone?" I said annoyed.

"No way we need memories." Isa said!then they all went back to what they were doing.
I looked back at y/n who was still confused.

"I love them but they are so annoying sometimes." I said and she giggled.

(Time skip to the next day)

Me and y/n we in her room on her bed just talking about the most random stuff.

"Yk with your gift you and my mom are gonna be best friends."

"I think if we let her feel her emotions it would be easier to control." She said and I just nod.

"Yeah that's true but abeula probably doesn't think so, she changed after what happened with casita but she's still her old self." She said.

"I wonder what chores you will have." I said and she shrugged.

"I don't know but hopefully not a lot." She said and I laughed.

"They will definitely give you a lot they give everyone a lot even Antonio."I said.

"Ugh"

(Time skip)

It was dinner time I was sitting next to y/n talking, until it started raining everyone turned to my mom who had a cloud.

"What's wrong pepa?" Abelua asked.

"Dolores and Mariano are already getting married, my baby's are growing up to fast." She said crying.

"Mama! It was a surprise!" Dolores shouted.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm just so sad.. your getting so old."

"It's okay mama, but yeah we're getting married very soon!" Dolores announced.

"Felicidades"
"felicitaciones" everyone congratulated them.

"gracias" Dolores thanked them and everyone finished eating then headed up to there rooms.
