"Arlo put the shovel down." I said as I was watching Finn Run and scroll through Arlos phone reading texts out loud.
"Not until Finn gives me my damn phone back." He responded while chasing Finn around the shop, we just started the day and they're already causing problems.
"Ooo who is E? Boy or girl? Looks like you two get along well, let's see, 'when can I see you again? I miss you.'" Finn reads while at one end of the table and Arlo at the other. Just as she reads that the door opens with the sound of bells and Wren walks in with breakfast for us all.
"Wow what'd I miss?"
"Arlo has a secret partner" Finn teases. Just as she says that Arlo starts running towards her again with the shovel.
"Give it back or I swear-" Just then Wren decides to step in and take the shovel from him, coming up behind him and grabbing his jacket. "No fair give it back." He pouts. Finn is now in the corner of the store sitting on one of the stools but stands up to hand Arlo his phone.
"It's fine, you'll spill eventually." She pats his back and walks to the food Wren brought. "I'd rather eat than read more of that." She says while going through the bag from one of our favorite bakeries in Pike Place Market.
"I got everyone their usuals, Fay, a chocolate muffin and a green tea with honey, Arlo, banana bread with a cold brew with milk and caramel, me with the pumpkin bread and a green tea and Finn with a butter croissant and an iced chai tea latte." Wren says and Finn pulls everyones food out. We don't open the shop until 9 but we like to get here early and switch who gets the food on the mornings we all work.
"Thanks Wren, perfect as always." Arlo says grabbing his things and going to the back room with us following.
"Yeah thanks Wren, I would have gone with but I had to pick Juniper up from the vet." Juniper is my new kitten that I found, she was a stray but she's really sweet. Not to mention extremely cute, she's a very fluffy calico. I found her a couple weeks ago and thankfully Wren and mines apartment is pet friendly so we could keep her.
When we all sat down and started eating we started talking about random things when the building across the street came up. "Did y'all hear that the place across the street got bought?" Wren said while drinking her tea.
"No where did you see that, I haven't heard anything about it. That place has been for sale since way before we started renting this place out." I say after I finish chewing.
"Yeah I saw it on my way in, it said sold out in the front." She responds.
"I came in the back way, haven't payed any attention to it today." Finn responds with Arlo agreeing. "I wonder what they're gonna put there, I hope it's something good."

Arlo, Wren and Finn left about 20 minutes ago, it was a slightly busy day at work and I had a lot of people who wanted us to do deliveries so I stayed after to finish the paperwork for it. Living in Seattle has been amazing, I met my friends in college and now we have a flower shop together. Living here has its perks though, for example I love rainy weather so its nice here, but we get sun to so it's actually nice. The city always has tourists but that's ok, I've grown used to it.
Closing for the night, I check the back door and make sure its locked, I clear the cash register and put the cash we got today in safe, we all watered the plants that needed it earlier so I don't have to do that. Going to the front door and walking outside to lock up for the night I see 2 guys carrying boxes in the building that got bought while a girl sits on the hood of their car, looks to be an old mustang, an ivy color, my favorite color.
