Kaylee's pov ***
It has been a month since I killed Sara. I have moved out of the house. I am living with Logan in his apartment. I am meeting with the realtor today to put the house on the market.
I have told the family that I can't stay there. At one time, this was my dream house. That dream has turned into a nightmare.
"Ms. Tucker! I can't believe that you are selling this gorgeous home!" Roger Jefferson gushed. We had finished the walk through.
"Yes, well. I am getting married and we don't think this house is big enough for the family that we want to have."
"Totally understandable!" He answers.
Logan walks up and kisses my head. I introduce him to Mr. Jefferson. "Oh yes! I really see what you mean."
We sign the contract. Then Logan asks about a bigger house. He shows us several over the next week. We discuss and decide on an awesome four bedroom five bath home on three acres, just outside of town. It is a beautiful two story red brick house with lots of windows. Logan signs the contract for it on the same day that I sign the sell contract on the old house. It sold above the asking price. All is right with the world.
A week after we move into the house, I get a call from mom.
"Hey mom! What's up?" I answer as I finish washing the dishes from breakfast. Logan is working overtime, so he is still at work from yesterday.
"Honey, I need your help. I have been asked to set up a wedding in Sturgis. It has to be done quickly." Mom says in a frantic tone.
"Calm down, mom. Who is getting married and why didn't they do it themselves?" I ask.
"Well! They is Snake. He wants to surprise Marta with a wedding. She has no idea. But he was called into work this morning. He wants to marry before the baby is born. Will you help me out, baby?"
"Of course, mom! Where do I meet you?"
"I'm about three minutes from your house. I'll pick you up." She hangs up and I put my shoes on then I call and leave a message for Logan of what I'm doing.
I hear mom honk the horn for me. I rush out and make sure the door is locked and the alarm is on. Something that I never forget to do now.
I get into the car with mom and she drives away. "Thanks for the advanced notice, mom!"
"You know that I love you, babygirl! This was sprung on me too. Sorry!" She tells me.
I think that she is trying to lie to me without lying. I know that she is up to something. We make small talk about what decorations need to be put up.
"Why is he doing this at Sturgis? They live together in Crazy Butte." I asked curiously.
"I don't know, baby."
I know why I would want to marry at Sturgis. That is where I met the love of my life. Actually it was six months ago today! I text Logan.
I've been in love for six months! I love you, Logan!
Of course I don't get a response. He is working. We get to Sturgis and I realize something quickly. This is where we were camped when I first saw Logan standing across the street. Staring at me until Jamey walked up to him. There are some canopies set up. Only two tents. Tara and Lana are here with Ashton and Shawna.
Since Jamey and Shawna went out the first time, she has been at every family event. I hug them all. Mom tells me that one tent is where Marta will get dressed. I sneak a peek at the most gorgeous wedding dress! It is a sapphire blue, body hugging dress that will drag the ground a little. The bodice is a deep V-cut. The back is almost as low cut, except it is a scoop neck cut.
