Sabine sighed, Valentines Day at the Protocol was always a nightmare, everyone was either calling their loved ones or actually hanging out with them in the headquarters. Half the people here didn't even celebrate it in their home country, it was just infuriating. It was worse enough when Reyna wouldn't keep her hands off of Sage and they had to restrict them from being on missions together, now it's Phoenix just begging everyone to go out on a date with him.

Viper locked herself in her lab all day, not bothering with any of the stupid shenanigans her coworkers were up to today, not until Brimstone used the master card to open her door.

"Hey, Viper, there's a problem." Brimstone sounded off-put, which meant it was something he was uncomfortable with.

"If it's anything to do with today's holiday, go find someone else to take care of it." Viper typed away entries onto her data chart of the experiment she did earlier in the morning.

"No, it's just that Phoenix keeps making everyone uncomfortable,"
Viper didn't bother to hear what else Brimstone had to say, "So you want me to scare him?"

"No," he rubbed his forehead, "Well, yes. If you just spook him enough for him to knock it off today I'm sure he won't do it again."

"Is this a third-in-command type of job or a 'you're scary and will convince him' type of job, and what am I getting out of it?" Viper huffed.

"Both?" Brimstone's voice went up at least an octave.

"Fine, if nobody bothers me for the rest of the day, you included, I'll be fine with scaring him." Viper closed her computer before walking briskly past Brimstone, who just nodded in confirmation.

Viper walked in to the training room to see Phoenix literally on his knees in front of someone begging them to just hang out with him.

"No Phoenix," Neon walked away. To which Viper walked up to Phoenix,

"I heard you've been harassing everyone all day?" Viper bent down at ear level and whispered into his ear, quite a few people were watching, so she had to freak him out really bad.

"In one of my previous Kingdom experiments, I found that human bodies decompose after staying in acid for twelve hours, but there's no reason you should worry about that, not if you stop messing with everyone today." Phoenix literally shuddered,

"I hope you know the connotations of what I'm saying." Viper only got a nod in confirmation before he stood up, blank as a canvas and sauntered away.

"Yo, pretty boy! Uh, why do you look like you just saw a ghost?" Jett asked, and Pheonix looked back at Viper and walked faster in the other direction.

Viper stood up and walked back to her lab, to which Brimstone was waiting outside,

"I did what you asked, now leave me alone please."

"Thank you, I'll tell everyone to not disturb you today." Brimstone walked off as Viper entered her lab, finally relaxing on one of the armchairs she had for when she was too tired to make it back to her room.

Everything was fine until she heard a knock, she ignored it until there was another knock, gentler this time. Viper sighed and got up, she was going to go to her room after this if she kept getting interrupted.

She opened the door to see Neon, standing in the doorway.

"I specifically requested that nobody bothers me today," Viper crossed her arms, and Neon sighed.

"I wanted to say thank you for getting Phoenix to knock it off, he was bothering me all throughout my training and it was getting on my nerves. I'll leave you be now." Neon turned to walk away.
