Haley's pov
Haley goes down to the cellar and pulls records out of her secret spot and plays it and sits down and starts humming the song.
Mom says"Haley are you listening to music?
Haley takes the record off and puts it away and is holding the records when her mom comes downstairs.
Mom says"give it to me.
Haley didn't say anything.
Mom says"there is a certain behavior that is expected of a young lady, Haley.
Haley says"but emmet loved music.
Mom says"you're brother is dead and buried. And here we are without a penny to our name.
Haley says"that's why you're marrying me off to the richest man in town.
Mom says"you could do worse. William is a good father. He's a temperate, god-fearing man.
Haley says"why don't you marry him, then?
Mom walks over to me.
Mom says"I will not let you squander this opportunity. William will not understand you're perverse taste in music, Haley. So I beg you give me those.
Haley hesitates and then hands it to her mom sadly.
Haley says"yes, ma.
Man says"actually those are mine. Sorry I knocked on the front door but no one was at the front door-
Mom says"and who might you be?
Man says"I'm Sam.
In the corner of her eye she looks at Sam and knows she shouldn't think this but damn he's hot.
Sam says"Sam Taylor. I was friends with you're son.
Sam walks over to my mom.
Sam says"I loaned him those records I was just coming to pick them up.
Mom says"you're a friend of Emmets? Did you practice together?
Haley looks over at Sam.
Haley says"they were class mates. Medical school. Sam's a doctor.
Mom says"well...it's always nice to meet a friend of emmets. Please, take you're things.
Mom hands it to Sam.
Sam says"thank you.
Mom says"will you be joining us tonight?
Sam says"I'm sorry, tonight?
Mom says"at Haley's engagement party.
Haley looks away.
Sam says"oh that's very kind of you but I'm only passing through.
Mom says"I see. Well, I trust you can show yourself out.
Haley says"yes ma'am, right away.
Mom walks away upstairs.
Sam walks over to me and hands me the records.
Haley says"thank you. I owe you.
Sam says"don't even worry about it.
Haley smiles.
Sam is looking around.
Haley says"what on earth are you doing?
Sam says"I'm sorry, is there like a trap door in here? Or some kind of secret exit?
Haley walks over to Sam.
Haley says"people usually use the front door.
Sam says"I promise I'm trying to go home. I just-I just don't know how.
Haley says"why can't you go home? Where are you from?
Sam says"I can answer that but you're not going to believe me.
Haley walks over to a table and places the records down.
Haley says"give me a chance.
Sam says"okay, fine.
Sam walks over to me.
Sam says"I'm from the future. The year 2019.
Haley turns and looks at Sam and laughs.
Haley says"my very own time traveler.
Sam says"you want proof? My phone.
Sam searching his pocket for his phone.
Haley says"you're telephone is in you're pocket?
Sam says"no, I must've dropped or some-Um. Oh okay, here this. This look, see? See this?
Sam shows me a picture of me.
Sam says"that's you Isn't it? where do you think I got this? I found it here in this house in the future.
Haley looks up at Sam.
Haley says"well that's impossible. I've never had my picture taken.
Sam walks away.
Sam says"well not yet. But clearly you will. See? I knew you wouldn't believe me.
Sam starts looking around.
Sam says"trust me, I'm still trying to figure that out myself. I don't know how this works it's gotta be something about this house. Is there anything unusual about it?
Haley looks away from him.
Haley says"my grandfather built it 40 years ago.
Sam says"grandfather? Okay, can I talk to him?
Haley says"now is not a good time. My family's all very occupied at the moment.
Sam says"right, with the engagement party.
Sam looks at me.
Sam says"the one that I just got invited to.
Haley looks at Sam.
Haley says"no.
Sam says"yes.
Haley says"no.
Sam says"yes.
Sam walks over to me.
Sam says"what happened to the you owing me thing? Look I'm not-I'm not asking you to believe me. Okay, I'm just-I'm asking you to help me.
Haley says"well you're not exactly dressed for a party. But I may have something.
