My darling (poe x ranpo) (fluff & angst)

Chapter 1

Poe's POV:

*sigh* no matter how much I try I just cant bring myself to tell him. Every time im around Ranpo I can't help but want to kiss him or hold his hand... He has so much talent. Everything about him puts me at shame. He's me former rival though...It doesn't feel right to love a former rival this much...Maybe theirs something wrong with me..

I looked up at Karl. "what do you think, Karl..?" He looked at me in confusion. I again sighed and stood up. "hmm. maybe...if i were to invite Ranpo to a event of some sort...then i could bring myself to tell him!!!" Karl nodded his head in agreement. "Then its settled!" I picked up the phone and dialed Ranpo! Surprisingly, he immediately picked up.

Poe: Hi Ranpo!

Ranpo: Heyyyy

Poe: Me and Karl were wondering if you had any um...p-plans today....

Ranpo: Umm lemme check

Ranpo: Nope! why do you ask?

Poe: THATS GREAT!! well uhh would you like to go on a picnic...just the two of us......A-AND KARL!

Ranpo: Sure! that sounds way cooler than doing whatever im supposed to be doing right now!

Poe: Great!

The call ends

I fell to the ground with a red face. "Oh Karl...did that sound convincing without sounding love sick...?" Karl shook his head. "i-i see...." If I can barely hold out during call...oh how will I be able to go on this picnic date.... Suddenly I got a text from......RANPO?!

Ranpo: Im omw! brought some snackz with me too :))

Poe: Ok! I'm also on my way, with Karl! ^^

I quickly shut my phone and grabbed Karl. "We have to get ready fast! we don't want to be late to our picnic, Karl!" I did my hair and put average clothing on. "Oh Karl will you do me a favor and try this on?" I handed him a small bow tie. Karl sighed but went along with it.

We were ready! I picked up Karl and headed out the door happily. I made sure to bring snacks along with me, it would be rude if i didn't have any prepared. The area thankfully wasn't too far from the house so there would be a small chance of us being late. " Oh yeah. Karl, if you ruin this and eat all the snacks then you will not get treats for a whole day or see Ranpo for at least a week" Sadly that plan would back fire on my regardless.

 No being able to see Ranpo for a whole week would be horrible for not only Karl but me as well... Suddenly i noticed a bright reflection shine into my eye...? "Ah..I think we're here!" I saw Ranpo waving from afar, already having a picnic blanket out with TONS of snacks on it. (to be more specific, sweets. not very surprising since this was Ranpo we were talking about) The bright light must have come from his glasses.

Ranpo POV:

I had already gotten the whole area set up! The snacks, the blanket, and even the perfect spot! "now I can just relax, and wait for Poe to arri-" I saw Poe in the distance with Karl on his shoulder. Looks like he already arrived. It seemed almost as if he was scolding Karl...But now all of a sudden he looks sad. Ill just put on my deduction glasses and read the situation.....

oh.... I couldn't help but turn red. Suddenly Poe looked towards me. My first intention is to wave so of course, that's what I do. "Hello, Ranpo!!" He said acting more happy. "oh hey!" He comes closer and sits down with Karl. "I also brought snacks!!" "that's great!" "Im glad! also, I'm kind of surprised that your schedule --- ----- --------- --- ---- ------ ---- -----" I start to space out. I couldn't hear what Poe was saying due to what was on my mind. 

Did he really care for me that much to where he would be worried about seeing me for that long...? Thinking back ; Poe has said stuff like it in the past....So why did it only affect me now? Even deducting it couldn't help me figure this out...

As I grew more confused, Poe handed me a sandwich. I looked up at him. "Here, you should start eating more healthy. Its not good for you" My face again got red. but...Why? I snatched the sandwich. "sigh You sound like Yosano.." His smile faded. Oh no...I made him sad... "B-but I never said I wouldn't eat it..." His face lit up again. Phew I bit into the sandwich. It actually tasted good for something that wasn't filled with sugar...

"What do you think.....?"

"It tastes good"

Kind of a short chapter LOL but I'll prob progress into making longer chapters in the future!
