The Forbidden

Prologue

Sprucestorm padded into camp slowly, her apprentice following closely behind her, the news of their deputy passing spread fast. Green cough was harsh, and she was surprised she didn't get it. Their leader, Skipperstar, had just announced a clan meeting. Sprucestorm sighed, before padding over to sit with the rest of the cats 

"May all cats old enough to hunt, come and join me under the red bark" Skipperstar called out, watching the cats gather beneath the Red tree. She smiled sadly "I know you all have heard the news of Foxpounce, it is sad he had to pass on, but hopefully Starclan, and others watch over him" She said, looking up towards the night sky, other cats followed in tow.

"Tonight, I will chose a new Deputy, and I have one cat in mind, Sprucestorm, please step up" She smiled. Sprucestorm was shocked, but slowly walked forwards "You have trained so well, and so many apprentices have learned great things from you. Will you honor our clan, bringing your Loyalty, and Kindness, and be our Deputy?" Skipperstar asked, Sprucestorm nodded some

"Yes, I will, and I will make sure RedWoodclan is well protected" She smiled, Skipperstar jumped down, touching noses with the warrior. "Very well, from this day forwards, you will help this clan, and hopefully, when I pass, become a great leader"

Cats began to cheer her name, proud of their new Deputy, Sprucestorm smiled, dipping her head in respect to the others.

Sorry for the short Prologue! I just wanted to get something out, for some context and such! Updates might be slow, I help my Grandma, and Mom with alot of stuff, so again it will be slow, so please be patient!
