Chapter 11 The Sister, The Twins, and Janja

"Hay, wakey, wakey!" Vitani heard Janja's voice shout her awake.

Vitani than felt a sudden pain in her side as Janja kicked her in the ribs to fully wake her up. Vitani gave a muffled groan before glaring up at Janja.

"Phew phucking mhunt!" Vitani shouted through the bond on her muzzle.

"What's that? You're talking into my bad ear sweetheart." Janja said.

Vitani just sighed and rolled her eyes in annoyance. Janja laughed at Vitani before going to gather up Cheezi and Chungu. As he turned around, he made sure to slap Vitani in the face with his tail. Vitani growled and tried to grab at Janja's tail as best she could with her bound paws, but missed. Janja explained to Cheezi and Chungu that the clan should be out on the morning hunt right now and that Jasiri should be out leading it while Madoa stayed behind to keep an eye out for them.

The plan was to lure out Madoa or just sneak up on her and knock her out if they could. Cheezi and Chungu asked what they should do if they come across any other clan members. Janja told Cheezi and Chungu to do whatever they had to do with any other clan members who spotted them, but that they shouldn't have to if the plan went smoothly. With Cheezi and Chungu knowing and understanding the plan, they and Janja began to leave the cave. Janja made sure to slap Vitani in the face again with his tail as he passed her.

"Sorry, all you lions, especially Pride Lander ones have a very slapable face." Janja instantly fake apologized.

Vitani mentally told herself that Janja would be lucky if he was caught by someone else before she got free and caught him first. Vitani watched as Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu pushed a large boulder that covered up the whole den entrance out of the way. Just as they were pushing it back into place, Janja peeked around the boulder at Vitani.

"Don't worry Vitani, we'll be back home in about an hour or two with Madoa so that you two girls can do girl stuff, like do each other's claws and fur, talk gossip and about boys you like, and having a tea party while playing house. So, be good until than, 'kay?" Janja said.

Vitani gave a muffled, very irritated sigh. She was growing tired of Janja's mockeries and insults and of just hearing his voice. When the boulder was pushed into place, Vitani waited a few minutes to make sure Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu were gone before taking action. Last night, Vitani had thought about trying to use her claws to saw through the vines binding her and fight her way out of Janja's den. She never had the chance to do it since Janja had Cheezi and/or Chungu watch over her all night to make sure she didn't try anything smart, but it's not like it would have worked anyway; the vines were too thick and Janja had broken all of Vitani's claws while she was still knocked out.

So, Vitani vent with her second plan. She crawled over to the boulder sealing the entrance, balanced as best as she could on her bound legs and pushed against the boulder. Vitani pushed with all her might, but the boulder wouldn't budge. Vitani grunted in frustration. If she wasn't bound and able to firmly place her paws on the ground than maybe she'd be able to move it, but that wasn't going to be happening.

If Vitani wasn't gagged than maybe she could just roar her way out of the cave. However, she had already tried to pull the vines off her muzzle, but they were just too tightly tied, to the point where they were rubbing her muzzle raw. Out of options, Vitani just slumped against the wall, hoping that Janja's plan to kidnap Madoa failed horribly.

Meanwhile, at the Outlands volcano, Madoa had just gotten back from checking around the volcano for any sign of Janja, Cheezi, or Chungu being around. She had also checked in with Mzingo and both of them hadn't found any sign of the missing hyenas. So, Madoa decided to go back to the volcano and wait for Jasiri and Kion to get back. The two had taken half the clan into the Pride Lands for a small hunt about an hour ago, so Madoa figured they'd be back any minute now. When she came to the main entrance into the volcano, Madoa saw two hyenas there, Linzi of her side of the clan and Kutana from Janja's side.
