First Date

November 09th 2001

Draco was lost. He didn't know what to do for his first date with Hermione. "Ugh why is this so difficult." Draco said out loud. "Because Draco this is your first date in the last three years and is not with any woman. Is with Hermione Granger. The girl you had a crush on in school. So you can't fuck this up." Draco continued to say to himself in his office. "Told you he was nervous. He is even talking to himself." Blaise said to the woman near him. As they had just walked in. "Shut up Blaise!" Draco says.

Their friends smiles at them "Oh you two are adorable. But I am glad to see you so worked up about this woman Draco. There goes me trying set you up with my friend." Esmeralda said. "Hey is not my fault. She never had time for me." Draco says to his friend.

"Whatever Draco. Any plans on were you will be taking this mysterious woman." Esmeralda asked. "That's the thing. I have no idea. She is muggle born. We been out to muggle restaurants and stuff. I would love to take her to Paris or Italy something huge. But she will say no. She won't like me spending all that money. On our first date. Ugh why does she drive me so crazy." Draco said taking a seat in his leather sofa.

In that moment a sweet older woman in her eighties comes in with a tray of biscuits and tea. "Because my dear Draco. Some women you can't be bought. And this young woman doesn't care for your money and how much you can spend on her. She likes you for the young man you are." Ms. Sofie said. "I like her already." Esmeralda said. "Why don't you take her out on the boat? Have a nice meal on it. You can even cook for her and to top it off adding some fire works." Ms. Sofie suggested. "I like that is still fancy but private and I can send you some of Fred Weasleys new firework collection." Esmeralda said.

"Is Fred now?" Blaise questions. "Yes we are actually already a couple." Esmeralda said with a big smile on her face. "That is great Esme. I am so happy for you. But if that Weasel breaks your heart. He is going to have to answer to me first and then your brother." Draco said. They laugh and enjoy their tea and biscuits. Draco planning on his date with Hermione.

November 10th 2001

Hermione started getting ready for her first date with Draco. He had owl her telling her to wear something casual. Jeans, blouse, sneakers or sandals if she wanted to. This made her be more calm as she was worried Draco would go all out for their first date and she didn't want that. She didn't want Draco to think she was with him because of his money.

She had fallen for him for how sweet, funny, smart, and hard working he was. The good looks and the money were just a extra credit. So she got ready Saturday morning put on some short overalls with white blouse and sneakers.

Draco knocked on her door few minuets later. "Hey love. You ready?" Draco asked. He was wearing shorts, a white t-shirt, boat shoes and a hat. "You know you can apparat into my apartment right." Hermione said leaning in for a kiss. "Yes but Mrs. Gracehill the old lady that gave me the sugar. Was walking in with her groceries. And I had help." Draco informed her smirking.

"Oh look at you all boy scout. Do you get a badge for that?" Hermione laughed. "I do not know what that means love. The only badge I have is from when I a was Head Boy. Now let's go. We have a big day ahead of us." Draco said. "I am all yours." Hermione said as she takes his hand and Draco just smiles at her "Yes, and I would be a full to let you get away." he said apporating away.

Soon they arrive on a harbor in front of a huge boat. "Draco what is this?" Hermione asked taking in the two story boat. "This is where I am taking you. I wanted to show you the world. And since you don't like flying much. I left my magic carpet at home." Draco said extending his hand so Hermione can get on board.
