. . .
It was a warm day and perfect weather to have fun with your friends, maybe mess around with them, do sports, run around but for M/n apparently it was the perfect day for shopping. He had been meaning to get himself some food for a while, proper food, it isnt too healthy to only eat instant noodles and soup all the time with the occasional peyoung yakisoba when he hung out with Baji and Chifuyu.
He could've contacted his childhood freinds, Nahoya and Souya but chickened out. It was stupid really, he could throw as many insults he wanted at people or start fights without a second thought but when it came to talking to old friends he just couldnt.
He thought they would hate him for just ditching them like that, he had his reasons but they're not something that you can casually tell someone.
So, here he was. Picking out the best oranges he could find in the fruit isle. He had a basket with food in his hands which were waiting to be paid for. Luckily, he decided to get a part time job at a cafe and a night shift at a corner shop to pay for food. He must admit going to work at the cafe straight after school then a store for the night is tiring but it gives him something to do, it's not like he will sleep anyway. Plus, its only 4 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday when he does this so he'll be fine.
After he paid for the food and bagged it up, he headed down the street. M/n remembered what Hinata had told him, apparently Takemichi was in the hospital after a dispute with a gang. He didnt get all the details about what happened since Tachibana didnt know herself but he said he would pay a visit to the boy. He didnt. He kinda forgot about it then thought it was too late when he remembered once more.
As he neared the river bank he could here the laughter of people and playful shouts, most owned by teenage boys but one or two were female.
His h/c hair blew in the wind as he walked down the path, it was peaceful, the sound of people having fun but also the calmness of the wind and cars zooming by was nice. It was peaceful, well that was until he was interrupted by a ball flying past his face. Seriously, what's with him being interrupted while he finally relaxes?
He turned his head to be greated by a familiar blonde.
'You've got to be kidding me...'
The ball had been kicked by a small dorayaki loving gremlin who was trying to hit his giant of a friend in the face, missing terribly and almost hitting him instead.
"Oh, N/n!" The boy shouted while waving gaining everyone attention.
The boy sighed and turned around beginning to continue walking home. 'If I pretend they're not there, they'll leave me alone.'
Thinking he got away with it, he sighed on relief, however this joy got cut short when a hand grabbed his collar pulling him back.
"Oh no you dont." It was a girls voice, Hinata Tachibana's to be exact, she had the look a mother would have on their face when their child ran off and she had caught them in the act of trying to do something stupid.
"I thought I told you to stop running away from any slight inconveniences."
'Why am I getting scolded!?' The male had a look of distraught on his face as be got pulled closer and closer to the group. He could of easily gotten out of the pink hairs grasp but he couldnt disobey what she said, the look of disappointment she would give him was something he did not appreciate, like one a mum would give if their child messed up in school.
