Y/n felt warmth engulf her whole body, no more does her body hurt, nor does she feel anything her whole body felt like floating in the air. "is this how dying feels like?" her weak voice muttered making everyone freeze. 

"Y/N! IT'S ME! PLEASE STAY WITH ME LOVE" she smiled before weakly trying to open her eyes "I'm sorry Rin. . . I don't think. . . I don't think I'll. . . Make it." she couldn't move her limbs and her head felt like she's underwater.

Rindou and the others burst through the door finding the girl lying on her own pool of blood barely breathing and a couple of syringes laying on the floor.

He thought she was dead, he thought he lost her but she was awake. There's still a chance.

"please please please hang in there!" he gently cradled her head pleading Kakucho to open the warehouse door and ready a car or call an ambulance "there's no need. . . Please Rin. . . This is my. . . Only. . . Wish" Rindou sobbed nodding his head "yes, please! I'll do it!" the others left the room leaving the two alone.

He lifted her hand to his cheeks before hearing her softly chuckle. "please. . . . I want to watch. . . . the fireworks by. . . The beach. . . with you. . ." Rin does nod his head even when the festival's fireworks were already finished two hours ago. But he nodded and Kokonoi didn't hesitate to buy a whole firework company and set it up for them.

This was the last, it's all they can do to say goodbye. . .

Rindou feels the rough sand touch the sole of his feet. He's carrying her body that's barely staying alive as she hummed through the nursery rhyme, all people knew. It was the first song she sang when they first met.

" up above the world so high~
Like a diamond in the sky~"

Rindou's voice cracked as he listened to her soft voice that he will probably never hear again.

How I wonder what you are~"

Once her voice stopped, Rindou stilled on his place "did you know. . . . I always. . . Had a crush. . . On you?" they both laughed "did you know I loved you for as long as I remember?"

He felt her shiver once she was hit with the ocean wind "I think. . . . I'm dying." Rindou sniffed as he couldn't get ahold of himself "please. . . . Please stay just a little bit." he held her tighter to his chest while they waited for the fireworks to come.

"Hey, Rin-kun. . . . I can't see anything. . . Is there no stars. . . In. . . . The sky. . .?" Rindou whimpered staring at the bright full moon that glowed with all of its glory reflecting the pristine water of the sea "yes. . . It seems like they were shy and didn't show up." he didn't hear a reply

"Rin. . . . . Is it raining?" she tried to open her eyes to look at the sky, but if only she knew that it was Rindou's tears "yes love. Let's hope the fireworks still work" as he cried harder feeling her body slowly turn cold.

Feeling his knees slowly gave out, he sat on the ground cradling her body on his lap pampering her cheeks with kisses as she tried to keep herself awake.

"Y/n. . . Do you still wanna marry me?"

The girl nodded feeling her eyes tear up as it slowly gets worse and worse. "I. . . Will always. . .be. . . . Yours." she smiled when Rindou slipped the slim golden ring on her ring finger, fitting snugly like it was meant to be there (which it does)

"you're Haitani Y/n now."

And as the clock ticks to 12, their lips met sealing their vows as they watch the colors paint the starry sky.

Even when the gods turn back the time.
