After that small memory resurfaced, you weren't much help in the rest of the fight.
That feeling was almost debilitating, but you were determined to help your classmates bring the villain down.
After throwing you into the wall, the Hero Killer seemed to be making a conscious effort not to hurt you again. When you proved to be a little pest, he sliced you and ingested your blood—forcing you to watch by Todoroki as Iida and Izuku finished the battle.
"Can you stand?" You we're surprised when Todoroki crouched down beside you, checking you for any more visible wounds.
"I can try." Your voice was gravely, probably from the intense blow to your back and head. Todoroki stood and stepped back, outstretching his hand and helping you pull yourself up.
He was suddenly crouched down once more, "Climb on." He said simply.
You blinked, urgently shaking your head. "You've lost way to much blood, carrying me will only make it worse."
"Please." His voice was as firm and chipped as it always was. "Let me do something for you." He spoke gently as he watched the blood trickle down your cheek.
Even though you weren't sure why he was acting like he owed you any favors, you were too dizzy to really fight him on this. You took a step forward and wrapped your arms and legs around him, stiffening as he stood and held you by your thighs.
"Could we borrow your scarf, Y/n?" Izuku called out to you, still in complete hero mode. The boy got so caught up in this sometimes that he wouldn't even take a second to assess himself and everyone around him until the job was completely done.
You reached up and began unraveling the capture weapon, tossing it to the boy.
"Thanks."
When everything seemed settled, Izuku's feet fell out from under him. Native was quick to aid him since you and your classmates had saved someone who was supposed to be a pro.
That's what he kept going on about at least.
When Izuku's eyes finally met yours, he took in the way your head rested on Todoroki's shoulder, the firm grip the two of you had on each other. He hadn't realized how hard the Hero Killer had thrown you, nor had he taken a second to figure out what he had meant when he told you someone in Hosu was looking for you.
Your costume didn't show much skin, so when the Hero Killer immobilized you—he did so with a slash down your cheek.
Izuku wondered if it would scar, how you would feel about that.
"Sorry, I'm supposed to be a pro but all I did was get in the way." Native grunted as he tried his best to carry Izuku out of the alleyway.
"It could've happened to anyone, his quirk is just so strong." Izuku wished he could reassure him more but his eyes were still glued to you. He watched as they flickered, falling in and out of consciousness.
Around the two of you the other three discussed the battle amongst themselves, feeling lucky that they managed to come out alive. It didn't sit well with anyone when Todoroki reminded the group that the outcome would've been different if the Hero Killer hadn't been blinded by rage.
"HUHHH!?" The loud scream of the all to familiar voice snapped you back into consciousness. Your head shot up and your eyes began to shake as you saw the angry old man charging in your direction. "WHY ARE YOU TWO HERE?!" He bellowed.
"Gran Torino!?" Izuku yelled, suddenly aware of his surroundings as well.
"I TOLD YOU T'STAY IN YOUR SEAT!" He screamed as he kicked the boy in the face.
