*Stefano's POV*

I fasten my seatbelt as soon as I'm in my seat. My seat is in first class and I'm surrounded my stuck up rich people. A man with a bright blue suit sits right next to me and is typing aggressively on his laptop.

Flight attendants walk up and down the aisle, helping people to get quickly situated in their seats. I look down at my hands that are turning white as I grip the handles of the chair.

"Guys put on your seatbelts on and I'll give you your snacks," my mom says to my sister Elena and I.

We stop as soon as snacks are mentioned and put on our seatbelt. A moment later our mom gives us our expensive airport snacks. Me and Elena share our snacks with each other.

"Ready for takeoff," the pulleys voice travels through the cabin. The plane begins moving slowly and my stomach jumps. I hand my mom my snacks and hold Elena's hand. My mom holds Elena's other hand.

The flight attendants quickly go through the safety protocols boringly.

Then, the plane begins going fast and we are off the ground. Everything seems perfectly fine one moment then the next, the plane is shaking and falling.

Oxygen mask drop down. My mother does what she isn't supposed to do. She puts on Elena and I's masks on first then she puts on hers.

"Mom, where's dad?" Elaina asks as tears start to build up in her eyes.

"He's towards the back of the plane. My babies there is nothing to worry about, everything will be okay. I love you," my mom says before going silent. Her eyes become blank and her chest stops moving.

Elena and I start crying but our cry's are drowned out from other peoples yelling and screaming. Flight attendants run down the aisle telling everyone to call their loved ones.

And then, we make contact with the ground.

Elena and I fly out of our seats due to the aggressive and sudden crash, but luckily our seatbelts save us from going very far. The lights of the airplane go out. I turn to my left and see that part of the airplane is ripped off. I turn back to my sister that stopped crying. I see her looking at her hand that is covered with blood. My eyes travel up her face and see a gash on her forehead. I quickly think and grab my jacket and tell her to place it over the cut.

I poke my head into the aisle and see multiple people crying and bleeding. After assuring Elena that I will be back, I go to find my dad.

"Dad!" I call out as I run towards the back of the plane.

"Stefano," he finally calls out to me.

I run to him as quickly as I can. My fathers hands are on his heart, blood slipping through his fingers.

Tears begin forming in my eyes once I see the piece of metal that is lodged in my fathers chest.

"No, don't cry. Don't ever cry my son. You need to be strong for your sister, but mostly for yourself. Tell the police to take you to Alessandro Rossi. He will take care of you and your sister." He begins coughing up blood. "I am proud of you and I will always be proud of you." And with that he stops breathing.

I give my father a kiss on his head and hesitantly run to my sister and wrap her in my arms. We both begin sobbing

Everything after that happens in slow motion.

Paramedics and police arrive. They pull our several injured and dead passengers. Two of them are our parents.

A police officers grabs me and Elena, and carries us out of the plane and to an ambulance. A paramedic tends to us while a police officer asks us question. The police officer that grabbed me and Elena never left us. She stayed with us the whole time. She held both our hands during the whole thing.

"Where are your parents?" The first question is asked, directed towards me.

Elena looks at me. "My mom- um, stopped breathing. So I went to go find my dad in the back of the plane." Tears start forming in my eyes but I stop once I remember my fathers words. I take a breath and finish my response. "I found him and he had a piece of metal stuck in his heart."

The paramedic finishes her work and wraps us both in warm blankets.

"I'm so sorry," the police officer says. "Did he say anything to you before he died?"

"He, um, told me to be strong and to tell a police officer to take me and Elena to a man called Alessandro Rossi."

"Okay. Thank you and you are both so strong. Stay right here and I will be back," the police officer says before going back to help others.

So we sit there, huddled up, as policemen, firefighters and paramedics run past us pulling people out of the airplane.

It takes the police officer two hours to come back to us.

In a blink of an eye, we are in a police car, driving towards Alessandro Rossi's house.
