Shattered Dreams

The sound of rushing water was heard from the peaceful waterfall as the light rain fell down, each drop being silent not echoing, not even a whisper being heard throughout Waterfall.

The air seemed oddly tense, as a movement was finally heard. The Waterfall river slowly started to turn purple with the echoflowers starting to wilt. You see a dark being wander around as they stood on the edge of the river's stream, casting it purple, the darkness you now recognize as goop.

You would watch this afar and be curious to approach, but your body wouldn't move, as you suddenly lost your composure and fell to both knees. The air was tense making it hard to breathe as the being started to approach you.

They said nothing, not even their footsteps making a sound, before finally muttering, "disgusting." You felt a sharp pain as before you knew it, a goopy and sharp tentacle pierced your chest, and everything went black as your soul was forcibly removed from your body.

The monster simply smiled holding the soul in their hands, before abruptly crushing it, as the remains were absorbed into the neverending goop surrounding their body. Looking around they seemed disgusted at the blood that got on them, shaking it off and tossing the body aside.

A smile spreads across their face, they had already removed the human from the timeline, so why not remove the other inhabitants.

Slowly the being walked forward, the water in Waterfall now becoming toxic and the air nearly impossible to breathe in. His overwhelming presence would send chills down the spines of the underground monsters.

The ruins started to collapse and the pillars holding it together started to crumble. The caretaker of said ruins would be forced to watch in horror, before their mind was taken over rather swiftly, causing them to laugh and walk into the collapsing ruins, leading to their demise.

The inhabitants of snowdin would feel the being's presence, soon turning hostile against one another, and eventually dusting each other. Each monster becomes insane and twisted mentally, losing all its senses, unable to fight the desire to kill.

The lava starts to erupt and bubble violently in hotland, as its starts to spurts onto the land. The inhabitants would all flee to the lab, many of them being survivors from snowdin.

The Core would start to shake, the monsters running it all jumping into it, as the dark monster would appear there suddenly. He held no hesitation but yet a sadistic smile, summoning an archer's bow that glew purple, before anyone knew what happened a purple arrow was fired into it. The arrow afterward would explode, causing a large chain reaction taking the Core with it, ad the being would disappear once more out of sight.

He then resurfaced, as all life in the underground was destroyed by him and the Core's explosion, standing in the remains of the last corridor, he simply waited.
