"I'm pleased by you coming to meet me, Core, but don't you have other matters to attend to. You seemed worried earlier...ah I see, you seem pretty confident that your friends can handle the situation,...but you seem nervous. I understand if you don't feel like it but can you tell me what happened?"

Core: "... it's fine, don't worry too much about it Gaster

WD Gaster gave a slight nod, looking down at the child, he noticed the look of uncertainty on their face

Core: I'm sorry but there's something I have to do, so please excuse me

Core would vanish without another word, manifesting elsewhere and leaving Gaster alone in the void. He understood but would take note of this being out of character for them, as he wondered what was so important.

[Back in the FlowerFell Universe]

Seraphim could do nothing but look down in disappointment at himself, the voices of the fallen children going wild in his head, as he unknowingly yells at them to quiet down out loud. He walked over towards Frisk's hiding spot, dust scattered across the ground and over his body alike. He tells Frisk its safe now as she turns around, a mixture of shock and agony across her face as she looks and sees nothing but the dust and left behind items, everyone she tried to spare and everything she worked for had been undone in an instant...undone in a single attack. Seraphim placed his hand on one of her shoulders are comfort as he looks down.

"Sorry kid, I tried my best."

Frisk spoke up, "It's okay you tried your best...I'll just have to try harder and start over"

"I'm afraid I can't allow you to do that kiddo." Frisk looked at him in confusion as to why not. "That thing can come back anytime, it's not safe here for you or anyone else remaining in this timeline. I know it's hard but I have to say it, there's no point in a reset they'll likely just come back and destroy this place once again, that time I might not be able to save you all. That creature, Shattered, isn't above it and is spiteful so it's likely they'll do it."

Frisk went silent not knowing how to respond to the situation, allowing for Seraphim Sans to continue, "We can talk further but we'd have to go somewhere safer than here." Frisk would nod in understanding as she started to follow Seraphim.

He would lead her to the nearest house, being Undyne's, and open her door, revealing a white void which the two walked into and closed behind them, effectively abandoning the timeline for now.
