"Hey JK! Welcome back to Euphorics. The usual?" she asks and JK replies "YOU'RE BACK!" with excitement glittering in his eyes.

May is back in the Café and the owner gave her back the job with a dollar less per hour that she made before. She really likes the Café and wants to stick around, want to be back in her World to feel some peace, so she accepts the offer.

The final selection after the internship did not go as best as she had hoped. Her name was not on the list of the three selected inters for the paid job. So she had to get a job that pays for get daily needs.

Joon refused to let her go back to the menial job and even offered her a temporary position in his PR firm but she politely declined. Him let's her stay at his place till she can find a place she can afford is a big enough favor already and she did not think he needed another reason to overburden himself.

JK got to know his May is the same May that Joon has been talking about when he visited their place for dinner. It was awkward, not because they all knew each other but because his other half was not with him.

"You guys looked so happy together. I could never name your relationship but I knew it was more than something we usually label as friendship." May tries to reassure JK that their love was visible in they eyes even if they usually addressed each other as friends.

They slowly become friends over JK's embarrassing stories from when he was going out with Joon. They both giggle over little details like how Joon's eyes become round and adorable when he sees something cute. Or how his gaze becomes shaper when you wear something he likes.

They would make Joon feel uncomfortable enough to leave the conversation in his own home while May went on and on about the little details she never felt comfortable sharing with anyone else.

"Yesterday he was working in the den when I was about to go to sleep. I know he had a lot going on so I just went away while he was on the phone. And next thing I know he is sliding into the bed and hugging me tight for 15 minutes. He didn't say anything but I knew he just wanted to be there for me any way he could. I was sleepy but I remember him going back to work again."

Joon was going to sneak in a cigarette while he was on his balcony but hearing that makes him drop the filtered tip menace back into the cartoon and stuff it back into the deep pockets of his sweatpants. He finds it easier to let go of his bad habits because he finally has someone he wants to care for. He wants to be healthy and happy to be able to make someone feel as good as she makes him feel.

May goes on and on about the little things that Joon does for her while a mesmerized JK can't stop himself from comparing it to his own relationship. And soon he is teary eyed and May is trying to calm him down all over again.

It breaks her heart to see him hurting this way. She knows he is so much more than people realize. The on-camera version looks tough and ruthless but the real JK is soft and innocent and extremely emotional.

"Go to him. He's just taking time to vent in his own way." May says while JK is still curled into a ball on one corner of the sofa.

"He doesn't want me back. I've tried."

"How? How have you tried? Sending a text isn't trying."

"I visited his place but Marie kicked me out."

"Did you try meeting him at the studio?"

"No!"

"Why?"

"Because..."

"Because?" asks May and watches JK curl into an even small ball.

"He doesn't want to see me May. I don't want to do back there and humiliate myself."
