It knocked on the door. Who the hell was it? I was in no mood for anyone. Stuff with Morgan ended and I knew we wasn't going to be together forever, but it still hurt. It knock again and I stand annoyed up from the couch. As I walk to the door it knock for the third time. Someone was impatient. When I open Bucky stands there awkwardly.
"I hear about that with Morgan. And well, I thought you could use some encouragement," Bucky says showing two bottles of beer. It wasn't just any beer it was my favorite. That meant he actually had paid attention to me.
"Yea, I guess someone likes to play the victim role in this break up at the compound," I chuckle. He looks at me like I knew something that was happening there. I knew it was. I didn't need to get it conformed. "Dude, I dated the girl. I saw her flaw, I just choose to over look them," I shrug letting him in in my apartment. "Why are you even here Buck? Didn't you have a date with Sam or something?" I ask knowing the answer.
"I canceled. In fact it didn't really work out. I don't know, I don't want to waist Sam's time. I'm clearly not in love with him. I love him, but I'm not in love. Sometimes stuff isn't enough like it is," he explains, a sadness growing in his blue eyes. I close the door and we walk to the kitchen. "So I guess we're both in some sort of breakup situation," he let out dry laugh.
"I'm sorry for that with Sam," I mumble. The only idea I had running in my mind had to stop disappear. I couldn't be thinking that.
"It wasn't your fault," he says awkwardly rubbing his neck. Oh, am I going to regret this? Yes. Bucky was wearing a button up shirt. My hands find the high button and slowly unbutton it. "Is this a good idea?" He asks skeptical. His hands holding mine, stopping me from unbutton more buttons.
"I don't know, you tell me," I say casual looking up in his ocean blue eyes.
"I don't know. You're my best friend's niece," he fumbles. My hands moves from his buttons on his shirt to his shoulder blade.
"It has never stopped you before, has it well?" I ask referring to the kiss we had on that one mission.
"You didn't shut up! That's it! It was nothing, it was just a simple kiss!" He yells dramatic.
"Yea, you couldn't think of any other way to get me to shut up so you just kissed me! Yea, that explains so much!" I yell back.
"Are you serious now? We're going to fight about this now?" He asks. I pull in his shirt getting him closer to me before I crash my lips in his. He didn't pull back. In fact he lent in to the kiss. It was a long, hungrily kiss. It was full of passion, unlike the kiss I had with Morgan. My mouth slips open and Bucky's tung get in. After a few minutes he steps back. Both of us panting. "Y/No, you've been drinking," he accuses. He was right I had, but no way I was going to admit it. His eyes get locked on something behind me. I guessed what it was. Empty beer bottles. I hadn't cleaned up after me. "Are you drunk Y/N?" He asks stepping back. "What are you thinking with? This is so unlike you," he says after a long moment in silent and no eye contact.
"Obviously not my brain. I'm sorry," I mumble still avoiding eye contact. "Sorry Buck," I mumbles leaning back at the counter.
"This breakup really broke you didn't it?" He asks like it wasn't obvious.
"I feel like it's pretty obvious. I didn't think it would affect me that much to be honest. I thought it come to be like bad week, but it has almost been going on for a month," I sigh.
