Aichmophobia (MLB)

Chapter three

"Just as Paris is about to celebrate the appearance of our two new supper heroes Ladybug and Chat Noir, a new wave of panic is sweeping across the capital as dozens of people are mysteriously transformed into stone monsters, it's simply unbelievable."

Mico was sitting at home with his parents later that day, watching the news over lunch. Displayed on the screen were several people who were caught in the moment of transformation.

"These victims transformed into stone beings are still like statues, police are perplexed what will happen to them, will they come to life or be frozen in time forever?"

"Those poor people." His Mom says as the mayor drones on about something in the background.

"What do you think will happen to them?" His Dad asks.

"I wonder if their still conscious  under there, trapped in one place, unable to do anything about it." Mico muses, staring at the image of the stone people.

"The stone beings are scattered all over Paris and for the time being they are showing no signs of movement,  police have cordoned off the area."

It was the next day, Mico's parents had decided to turn the news back on to see if the situation with the stone people had been resolved yet, obviously it had not.

The TV changes to show the mayor. "We wont stop until we find a way to get these people back to their normal selves, but for now we're not making much head way."

The TV then switches back to the news reporter. "Paris is relying on our new guardian angels, Ladybug and Chat Noir to save us all, our lives depend on them."

And with that the broadcast ends, the TV turning off when Mico's mom presses the button on the remote.

"Geez, seems like a lot of pressure for two people to have." Mico states as he grabs his bag and heads to the door. "We don't even know if their adults or not! They seemed more like teenagers to me."

"Well why would they come if they couldn't handle it?" His Dad asks.

"...I guess, but my point still stands." Opening the door, Mico shoots his parents a smile before walking out, calling. "See you after school!" Over his shoulder.

The walk to his school is rather short, and soon enough he reaches it, walking inside to see several students gathered around Ivan, who are telling him about how he was while he was the stone man.

"So you really don't remember anything?"

"You were totally going ballistic, it was so cool."

"You were totally out to crush me dude!"

After that last one from Kim, Ivan glances up at a girl standing a few feet away, watching, and she quickly looks away once she sees him looking at her.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't myself." Ivan apologizes, looking back down.

"Once a monster, always a monster." Chloe says, standing off to the side with a girl with orange hair and bright blue eyes.

This statement causes Ivan to get angry, and he marches off as Chloe calls after him. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out~!"

Mico decides to step in as a girl with blue-black hair and blue eyes follows Ivan and Alya, who was watching the interaction, marches up to Chloe.

"How could you say that to Ivan!? Your the real Stoneheart." She says, glaring at Chloe.

"Oh so I'm the one who broke Sabrina's Dad's arm am I?" Chloe asks, walking closer to Alya. "Just because your footage of those lame super heroes was shone on TV doesn't mean you have to get so high and mighty." Chloe then blows a bubble with her gum in Alya's face.
