I set her down behind a pillar away from the gunfire "you know i'm not gonna hurt you, you're my world Yelena"
"that's exactly what he told me" despite the tears, Lena's accent was still as thick as ever.
"except all he did was hurt you. when have i ever hurt you Lena?" i spoke softly

"what made you think i would even have a reason to kill you?"
"l- last time I- I killed the wrong person... she chuckled slightly, wiping her tears "yeah, because i wouldn't let you lay a finger on me" I smiled widely at the blonde
"that's my girl" I kissed her forehead and gestured towards the fight we had previously run away from, silently telling her we should get back to that
she nodded and i helped her up before we gave those guys hell
