I hope this story is actually good. I hope at least most of them are.
Anyway let's go.
____________________________________________It's been roughly six days since the meeting with Rias' apparent fiancé. They were apparently gone off to train for ten days.
"Ok, so basically. A ratin game is Chess, but you're the pieces?" Ryan summed.
"Exactly." Sona confirmed.
Sona was teaching him more Devil stuff and other general supernatural stuff. She went over things like different houses, the main ones being Gremory, Sitri and Phenex. She glossed over the part where she's basically a princess in some way. That one shocked him. He moved on from it though, she's just plain old Sona to him.
She mentioned other things like Sacred gears, apparently that's what the Power Morpher Issei had was and it can grow to different forms.
She finally finished with a brief explanation of a rating game.
Speaking of Chess though, she still hasn't told him about it yet. She will soon, but she just can't now. She's too worried about how he'll take it. It's not like she'll force him into it, if he doesn't want to then she won't force him, but still. She hasn't even figured out her own feelings yet, so she's not sure what to do.
"You know, I feel bad for that Riser lad." Ryan said out loud.
"Huh?" She looked at him confused. " Why feel bad for him?"
"From the looks of it. Hasn't had much of a parental figure in his life. You can't blame someone for turnin out shit when they were raised like that, or maybe in his case, not raised at all." He went on.
"Yeah, I get your point. The Phenex families never were great at raising kids from what my parents said. A few turned out alright, but most unfortunately turn out like him." Sona said looking out the window of the SCR. She saw the perverted duo peeping like usual.
"Seriously, do they have any other hobbies?" Sona complained.
"Probably playin anime games and starin at the characters with tits. I'll sort them out." Ryan said walking out.
A minute later she watched him sneak past them, knock on the door of the changing room and after a minute the Kendo Club girls are now beating the two.
Sona smiled at this. He always liked helping if he could, as long as it's not too much effort. She's not sure why, but she likes that about him. She likes that trait in him that always likes to take it easy. He doesn't want a fun and exciting life, he just wants a peaceful and calm one. Despite that he still hangs around with Devils that constantly deal with issues that mostly include fighting, almost to the death.
"Sorted, now I better get back before I get the head ripped off me." He said as he came back to grab his stuff. "See ya later then Sona."
He walked out and Sona just watched the door.

Maybe.... Maybe she should tell him the big news tonight. If not then very soon."See you later Ryan." She said quietly and went to do her usual thing.
After school Ryan was walking home. He decided to take a detour to the park. It was a good place to do some thinking.
You're probably wondering about what Ryan would be thinking about. Well that's a bit obvious.
'How the fuck do you have a calm and peaceful life with a Devil who's likely goin to live two of your lifetimes?' He thought to himself. 'Probably more.'
Yeah, it was a very well kept secret, one he never told to anyone and he was able to stop himself from giving it away. He might have had a thing for Sona for a while now. Not a long while, mostly recent, but it was still there. He doesn't know how it even started.
