Chapter 10 - Calm Before The Storm

This will likely be mostly fluff and filler with a bit of plot mixed in there. This will likely be coming to an end soon. I enjoy writing this, but I don't want to drag it on for too long or it'll get boring quickly.

So it's been a while since the thing with Zeoticus wanting the engagement to be ended. Needless to say, tensions between the Gremory and Sitri house are so high that even Angels in heaven are saying "How fuckin high does that go?"

"Ryan! Can you get your familiar out here! He needs to have his fur trimmed!" Sona called out to him.

"He's walkin around there somewhere!" Ryan called back.

Munchie came out from the kitchen and walked over to her. He looked a little extra fluffy right now.

"There you are. I'll be a minute, Biscuit needs help shedding her skin." Sona said as she helped her familiar with her predicament.

Ryan then walked down the stairs after having his shower.

Oh yeah it's been a while so they're getting closer to finishing with school entirely.

Ryan was planning to go look for a ring for her tomorrow. If he couldn't find one for her....... well he hasn't planned that far ahead.

"How's Rias with all this tension?" Ryan asked her.

"She and I are the only bit of proof that our families are or were friends. Mom and Dad are still mad. They actually care about us, they support our relationship. Rias does too which is why she's not talking to her Father at all. Her mother is staying out of the whole thing." Sona told him.

"That bad..... fuck." Ryan cursed.

There was always something. Something to bother them. Can't he get a break?

"I wish you could too dear. Thankfully no one has been disturbing us to fight you though." Sona said reading his mind.

"That will never not be creepy to me." Ryan said referring to the mind reading.

"You'll get use to it eventually. So what's the plan for tomorrow?" Sona asked him.

Answer carefully Ryan and don't think.

"I have somethin to do tomorrow. I'll be out in town for a bit. Don't know when I'll be back." Ryan told her. Please don't ask questions.

"Where are you going?"

Damnit! Ok relax we can salvage this. Stay calm.

"Hell."

Fantastic answer dumbass!

Sona giggled at his answer.

"Well have fun while you're there. I guess it's the only place that can contain someone so hot." Sona said looking at him with a teasing smile.

The two spent the night just sitting and talking.

"I was actually going to spend a few hours with the girls tomorrow. So I guess good luck wherever you're going." Sona told him.

That was perfect.

Soon they decided to turn in for the night.

-The Next Morning-

Ryan stirred awake and looked around. He rubbed his eyes then looked to the sleeping Sona next to him, pressed against him.

Like the many other times he left her to sleep for a while then checked his phone.
