Mark's POV
Why? For what reason did people think this would be a good idea? Putting their favorite youtubers (who are friends) against each other to the death for their own amusement. Crazy isn't it. But here I am, standing in a circle with my friends around a clock that was counting down for us to grab a weapon from the middle and hope that their friend doesn't kill them. If I even dared to try to run now I would be killed by the shield around me.
I looked around at my friends. I saw Mat looking at Stephanie (his wife) and vice versa. I saw Tommy and Wilbur across from each other, trying to communicate even though they couldn't hear each other. A lot of my friends were here. Maybe we won't kill each other in the first few seconds.
"A few rules." We heard over an intercom in our tube like things. "For the first 30 minutes you can not kill anyone. Mainly for the reason that we want you guys to try and live. Second: when you find someone it is your option to either have them as your team or kill them, but if it ends up to be just you two you HAVE to fight against each other. We can only have one victor. Other than that, have fun and wait for the time to run out and DO NOT go before your shield is down." With that the voice was gone and never heard from again.
I was nervous. You can count on that. I was sure I would be one of the first to die and as the countdown got closer and closer to letting us go I started to worry more and more about it.

GO!
The shield fell down and we all ran to the cornucopia, but instead of grabbing a weapon and running we all stopped.
"Let's all be civilized. We grab the weapon in front of us instead of fighting for the one we want. If we don't know how to use it we will learn. Is that agreed?" Matthew reasoned.
Everyone nodded and slowly grabbed their weapon. I got a bow and arrow. Great. The ONE thing I don't know how to use. I grabbed the quiver and shoulder strap thing that would hold the bow. I got the glove thing for my fingers to not hurt. Told you, I don't know how this works. I looked at everyone for a few seconds before running away into the woods.
I didn't know what I was doing. I just ran until I found shelter of some sort. I did get to the top of a hill so I could see almost everything. I heard a bit of rustling coming from behind me so I knocked an arrow and turned around aiming at them.
"Woah! Don't shoot! Don't shoot!" It was Matthew holding up his hands with a dagger in one. I lowered my bow with a sigh and put it back.
"The grace period hasn't ended yet and I couldn't shoot even if I wanted to. I don't know how to use this thing." I said with a slight chuckle. "Where's Stephanie? I thought you two would do this together."
"She just ran. I thought I went in her direction but I guess not. I'm glad I found you though. Hopefully we'll be allies?" He held out his hand for me to shake.
"Of course." I shook his hand then looked back down the hill.
I saw Sean trying to climb a tree to stay out of sight. Tubbo had found a cave and looked to see if it was safe. Tommy and Wilbur had teamed up and it looked like they were looking for either food or a place to stay.
"I can't believe this. We were pinned against each other for our fans' enjoyment. I have a son, you know. I'd much rather his mother live than me. But if we don't..." he trailed off for a bit. "Mark, will you promise me that if you win you'll take care of Oliver for me?"
