(I THOUGHT OF THIS IN MATHS- Anyways I thought it'd be sweet to do an imagine of you and Johnny's first date! :D Enjoy!)

"Huh?" You questioned. You weren't quite sure if you had heard him right.

"Uh- Wanna go on like... I don't know... a date? Tonight at 7?"

Johnny looked incredibly nervous and he was playing with his hands alot. It was something he did when he was waiting on an answer or if he was awkward or nervous.

"Sure! Sure... yep..."

You muttered the last two words of that sentence nervously. Your face was hot and you thought to yourself 'How red am I?'

Johnny's whole face lit up and he beamed with triumph.

"Alright! I'll come get you at 7, sound good?"

You simply nodded then hurried off to get ready.

The whole time you were walking home, you just kept wondering if you were dreaming or not. It sure felt like a dream, even if it wasn't one.

7PM finally rolled around after what seemed like forever. You were wearing a yellow and white checkered dress that you borrowed from your friend. You borrowed alot of things as you didn't normally have alot of money. That's the way things were around your side of the town.

At about 7:05, there came a knock at the door and you smiled as you ran to the door. When you opened it, you were greeted by a very nervous-looking Johnny. He blushed at the sight of you and said "Hey! Uh- wow.. You look great!" At this you smiled and held out your hand jokingly for Johnny to take. He understood and took your hand with a cocky smile on his face. You both giggled as you walked down the path of your house onto the sidewalk.

At first, you didn't quite know where Johnny was taking you. But then it became clear when you both were stood outside the Dingo. You smiled and giggled as he walked you to the doors and held the door to let you enter. The dingo was your favourite restaurant, and I guess Johnny knew that as he was grinning.

When you got inside, Johnny lead you to a table for two and went to talk to the waitress to inform them that you both had arrived.

He quickly came back to the table and sat down opposite you. He smiled warmly at you and said,

"So, I guess we're really doing this, huh?"

You chuckled at his comment and replied with

"Yea, I guess so."

"Listen, Y/N, I gott-" He began the sentence but the waitress came over to take our orders and he stopped abruptly.

"Uh, Yea we're ready to order, thanks."

The waitress smiled at him and asked him what you would both like. You both ordered what you wanted and continued your conversation. Though, Johnny didn't go back to what he was saying for a while. In fact, he didn't go back to it at all. It left you with something to think about, that's for sure.

About 15 minutes later, the waitress came back with your food and you both began to eat, making small talk and laughing as you did.

"Is it nice?" You asked, pointing at his food with your fork.

"Mmn, Yeah. Is yours?" He replied with a smile.

You nodded and went back to eating. Johnny looked adorable when he ate. It sounds strange, but he really did!

The end of the date came too fast. At least it felt like it. Johnny escorted you out the doors after he paid and the two of you walked ,hand in hand, home. It was still bugging you to not know what Johnny was gonna say at the start of the date.

"Johnny?" You questioned.

"Yea?" He looked down at you with his brown eyes and smiled.

"What was it that you were saying before that waitress came over?"

He stopped walking for a minute and his tan skin went bright red. He looked at the ground and chuckled nervously.

"Oh, man, I was uh- I was hoping you wouldn't ask.."

You just raised an eyebrow at him and smiled, reassuring him that it was okay.

He sighed and took another deep breath as he sat you down on a bench that you were passing.

"Y/N, what I was saying was..." He took another deep breath and continued.
"I've always been in love with you. No matter what you did or what you didn't do. From the very first moment you spoke to me, I fell in love. I love you so much and I'm sorry it took me so long to say it but I truly, from the bottom of my heart, love you."

You just sat there, dumbstruck, staring up at him. You couldn't quite process what he said. But all you knew was that Johnny had just said he loved you. He stood there, twiddling his thumbs as he waited for an answer. You stood up and held both of his hands.

"Johnny... I love you too. I always have.."

He smiled with pride and his eyes lit up.

"You mean it?!" He exclaimed.

You smiled widely and nodded as you placed your hand on his face and he pulled you in for a kiss.

The moment your lips met, you were in heaven, taking in the moment. His lips were sweet and soft, so was his skin. He was perfect. It was like kissing an angel.

When you pulled away, Johnny looked and felt like he was on cloud 9. He blushed and smiled at you.

"So, does this mean you'll be my girlfriend?" He asked sheepishly.

You giggled and wrapped your arms around him.

"Of course, Johnny Cade."

He spun you around and lifted your feet off the ground as he did. You both giggled and stared into eachother's eyes. Neither you nor Johnny had ever felt that happy.

Now, you were completely alive and home.
