Chapter 10

A/n
The ambulance rushed Jungkook into emergency room. Meanwhile outside members were blaming themselves specially Jimin and Tae. Jimin was crying so hard and Jin was comforting him holding his own tears back. Tae was sobbing loudly in suga's arms. They waited outside the operation room for two hours when the door burst open.

Doc: Jeon Jungkook's family??
They all nodded in response.

Doctor sighed and said 'Death Time 4:56 pm. Everyone's eyes widened. At that moment they all realized that they all cared for the younger but damn their fucking ego.

Just then Jimin said "No you are lying. Jungkook cannot die. You have not tried hard. Please do something. I can't live without jungkook. Please save him. Take my life but save him." He said crying.

A nurse shouted from inside "Doctor come fast. The patient has a pulse again." Doctor ran inside leaving his conversation between the members.

Namjoon's pov
We didn't even move a bit just kept waiting in front of kook's room.
After what all kook had gone through because of us we all are sure that he will never forgive anyone of us.

But still I have a little hope that tae will forgive us because I know my kookie well. From what I have observed in his nature he is so pure and innocent and forgives everyone easily. We don't deserve such an angel.

Its like a rose in thorns. We are the thorns and that innocent boy is the rose. But we all will change and convert this into rose in roses (idk what I am writing lol).
The members waited for 2 more hours when the doctor came out. This time he had a smile on his face.

Doc: The bullet was very deep damaging his lungs. Thank God his heart was not damaged. He is fine now. We will shift him to a private room. Umm... Can I say you something??
The members nodded
Doc: I know what happened between you.
Namjoon: How do you know doctor??
Doc: Your manager told me. And also when he woke up after the operation he had earlier he first asked that is jimin fine. You never noticed how nice the boy is. He loves you so much. Hope you won't give him the same treatment again??

They all nodded while tears in their eyes.

Then Namjoon asked that could they see him to which doctor said "yes you can but the patient is still unconscious."

After they shifted jungkook to a private room the members went to his room. Tae was asleep in the arms of his hyung. Jimin held Jungkook's right hand is his. Jhope sat at the end of his bed. Namjoon held his other hand. Jimin kept on mumbling sorry to him. Yoongi and Jin were sitting on the extra chairs. Everyone had a look of guilt on their face. They waited for hours when someone squeezed Jimin's hand. He said excitedly "Jungkook you are awake" Everyone's attention got towards jungkook. He just hummed in response. He tried to sit but was met with a sharp pain in his chest. Namjoon quickly pressed the emergency button. Doctor came quickly and gave jungkook a painkiller through an injection. After that the doctor helped jungkook sit and the doctor left.

Jimin: I am very sorry Jungkook. Please forgive me.
Tae: I am sorry too Jungkook. I know we don't deserve your forgiveness but can you please firgive us. We will not do that again.
Jungkook: I will hyung. For sure I'll forgive you but I need some time.

They all hummed.

Jungkook: Hyungs I hope that you will give me some time.
Tae: Yes jungkook ofc. You can take your time.

Jimin then pulled Jungkook in a warm hug but unintentionally touched youngers wound. Jungkook hissed in pain. Jimin quickly broke the hug and started saying sorry to the youngest.

A/n
Jungkook was happy that his hyungs finally started caring for him. The one who shooted him was now behind the bars. The the reason to shoot jimin and tae was that his girlfriend was vmin biased and she left him because of BTS. But nonetheless he was now in police custody and jungkook was happy with his hyungs.

He told them about the weverse post he saw and again they all started apologizing to him.

After 6 days jungkook was discharged from the hospital. He was still not allowed to do any physical activity so pdnim gave bts 2 months off for the complete recovery of their golden makne. After that incident happened bts started to being overprotective towards kook. Pdnim as a punishment asked all the members to take jungkook for a trip to his favorite place and gain is trust back.

It was a one month long trip to LA and the members took care of jungkook properly
Jungkook finally forgave them after coming back from the trip.

After 2 months they all returned to their schedule and everything was fine now. They still used to get death threats but if jk saw them he quickly talked about it with the members and the case was solved before anything happened.
