Chapter 10//Stars~

Author's POV
Raiko stared at the bird outside her window, hoping this long day would be over so she could, hopefully, come and see Toman again.It was another dreadful school day, where the smell of creamy chalk and the calm, quiet atmosphere could lead you right into the dreamland.
Raiko could fall asleep if she wanted but unfortunately for her, Haru was in her class during that period.
"Wake up," Haru whispered, poking Raiko's arm with a mechanical pencil.Raiko winced, trying to ignore the pain, trying to catch up with some sleep.
"Wake the fuck up." Haru hissed, basically jabbing her arm this time.Pain shot through the girl's arm.
"I'm  up, bitch I'm up.." Raiko shot straight up." Fucking evil.."
"Ahahaha its my middle name.." Haru smirked.
"Baji and Yori-san, can you please pay attention?" The teacher said.
"Sorry miss." They both chorused. Raiko heard a small grunt from the back of the classroom.It was Baji, thinking the teacher called his name, looking up sleepily.Raiko frowned jealously, she wanted that nap as well.

The long awaited school bell came and Raiko shot up from her seat.
"Ughh finally.I was dying.Hurry up, Haru." Raiko whimpered.
"Chifuyu and I are going out today.Just go ahead." Haru answered as Chifuyu walked through the door.
"Ok." Raiko said, quickly leaving through the door, not wanting to see her best friend and boyfriend being lovey dovey and..whatever stuff in the classroom.
As she hopped down the stairs towards the front gate, her eyes hit with a scene she wasnt expecting.

Kazutora standing there waiting by the gate with his motocycle like usual.Except something though. There was a girl.
She had smooth brown hair, frilly and curled.Her firts blouse button was slightly open, exposing her chest.Her skirt terribly resewn, making it shorter.Raiko noticed her talking to him, smiling and blushing.She rolled her eyes. With a Cupid like Haru by your side, it kinda pours into you as well. It was obvious that the girl liked him, but I dont know about Kazutora's side.He looked tired and he had his pokerface as well.
Raiko could hear a part of their conversation as she walked towards them.
"..so yeah, maybe next week or something, we could go to the coffee shop or-" the girl grinned.Raiko nearly puked at the scent of her perfume and toxic makeup.
"..." 
"What do you say?"
"Hey Tigerbaka, ready to go?" Raiko said loudly, making both of them flinch.
"Stop appearing out of nowhere, dumbass.."Kazutora finally opened his mouth.
"Sorry you were in such a interesting conversation I didnt want to interupt." Raiko said."Who's your new friend?"
"I dont kno-"
"Hi! I'm Akuko!This cutie and I have been friends forever! Of course we never talked, he's been so busy we've never hung out much but today we're gonna hang out!" She jumped in with her loud squealing voice.
Interuption, immediate fake position, lies..red flags.How the hell did Tigerbaka find this girl??Raiko frowned in her head.
"That's..nice of you but me and Raiko are hanging out together today" Kazutora said, pulling Raiko by her arm and motioned her to the motorcycle.Like Raiko predicted, Akuko's smile faded instantly.
"Raiko huh..are you guys dating?" She said, fake-smiling.
The two glanced at each other before blushing.
"N-no, we're friends.." Raiko said, looking away.
"Yeah.."
"Ok, we'll i'll hang out with him next time!" And with that, she left.
"Next time?" Raiko muttered.

The wind blew past their face as they drove to Raiko's house.Silence filled them before Raiko decided to speak up but Kazutora beat her to it.
"Before you ask, I have no idea who that girl is. I mean, I've seen her around town and in your school whenever i come to pick you up but other than that, she's a mystery to me."
"Strange.."
"What stranger is that I never told her my name." Kazutora mumbled.Silence followed after, only the sound of wind could be head blowing by their ears.
"Oh well, cant be bothered by that right now.Is Toman hanging out later?" Raiko yawned.
"Hmm, I think we're popping by the beach later." He answered.
"Oh?When?"
"Midnight."
"..."
"Can you-"
"Sure, I'll come over to wake you up even though I think Haru's already planning that." Kazutora chuckled."Baji wanted me to pick you up either way."
"Dang." Raiko leaned into his back.The rest of the ride was filled with comfortable silence as the two rushed past.
"Here's your stop." Kazutora said before stopping the bike in front of her door.Raiko hopped off, brushing her skirt a little.
"I'll come by later to pick you up." He smiled.
"Yeah, thanks." Raiko smiled back as he drove away.As if on instinct, the usual feeling of blush rise up to her face and she was grinning stupidly she flung herself through the door and staggering up into her bedroom.
"What kind of boy got you smiling like that?" Baji said, raising and eyebrow at her from the kitchen.
"Oh its no one.." Raiko said, taking her shoes off.
"Its Kazutora, isnt it?"
"Whatt?? No way, its.."Raiko said, cutting herself off.
Baji raised an eyebrow at her before walking up to his room with a box of peayoung in his hands.
"I swear to god, I hung around Haru so much, her"Cupid" thing is rubbing off me." He chuckled.
Raiko sighed and slapping herself mentally before following after him and dropping herself on the bed and drifted off to sleep.
