"So help me understand...you had this amount of data, first day of the week?"

"Ma'am...I d-didn't notice the date t-today-"

"You don't have to notice the date, if you encode actual data! It's only a Monday morning and you already have a week report??? Help me understand???"

"I accidentally duplicated some data ma'am-"

"Accidentally? So this is an accident...this...this...this one...oh here's more...oh this one is an accident too right???"

The worker's report was projected on the screen, y/n pointing out his errors one by one, embarrassing him in front of the entire team.

"If you're going to lie to me...then do a better job at it!" she slammed her laptop shut, turning the presentation into a blue screen, "no signal" written in the middle of it.

"I-im sorry ma-"

"How in the world do you think you can fool me??? DO YOU THINK I'M THAT STUPID???"

The conference room was dead quiet, with her team shaking to their core, especially Jimin.

He couldn't look at her in the eye as he couldn't handle her intensity. He tries his best to do his job properly, not wanting to personally experience her wrath. Knowing that it could still get worse than this, he didn't dare to mess up.

"Everyone...get out and do what I instructed. I want it finished...TODAY." y/n spoke low but everyone clearly heard her, scrambling up to their seats to get out of the room.

"Jimin" she called out.

He flinched hearing his name and stopped dead in his tracks. He was a shaking mess, the cold breeze of the air conditioner not helping his situation.

"Y-yes ma'am?"

"Look at me."

"Y-yes Ms. Y/l/n" he tried looking at her but only did for a split second, not being able to hold a gaze.

She walked closer, her heels clicking louder as she approached the trembling employee. She reached for his chin with her fingers and gently lifted his head up to make him look at her. His neck was almost straining as he was significantly smaller than her, her red bottomed heels making their eyes farther away from each other.

"You know I don't like it when the person I'm talking to isn't looking at me in the eyes."

"I-I'm sorry ma'am...so sorry" he rambled apologies, trying to form a coherent sentence but his voice was too shaky. His eyes were a little watery, the interaction with his boss being too overwhelming for him.

"Hey...I just want you to relax. Calm down...I know you can do it. Finish your tasks today okay?"

Jimin was indeed a good employee, but his emotions get the best of him. With this industry being too harsh for his fragile heart, y/n tries to tell him that he will do good.

He was a people pleaser, but most of all, he didn't want to fail her. He couldn't bare her being disappointed in him. They were in a setting where she had to be tough and stoic, but he sees that she's more than just a strict boss. She was responsible, selfless, and would do anything for the better.

"Y-yes ma'am...thank- thank you..."

"Go ahead" y/n tilts her head, pointing at the door signaling that he should leave.

"Y/NNNN!" the door flung open followed by a high pitched voice. It was already almost midnight, and Jimin was already back to his normal self. No one would think this is the same man who was shaking like a leaf earlier.
