It was right after 3rd period. Kageyama took his things and started walking to the vending machine to get some milk.
He didn't know someone would be waiting for him there.
He walked up to the vending machine with a taste for something in his stomach. He walked up to it and looked up to see his boyfriend standing there with a rose.
"Kei, what is this," he asked. kei said nothing and instead gave him the deep red rose and whispered in his ear, "happy valentine's day, my love." Kageyama snorted. "wow, you're really on a budget, huh Kei." Kei just waved him off. "so you'd rather have your boyfriend not give you anything for the official day of love? I'll gladly take my gift back and—." "NO WAIT, LOVE, IM SORRY." "he half-shouted as he grabbed Kei's arm." "hmm. I forgive you." Kei then pulled out a big bag filled with numerous valentine's day gifts and gave him a blue dinosaur.
"oh my god, Kei, stop. I'm going to sob. You're so sweet." Kageyama touched his hand to his heart and started wiping his tears with the arm he was holding his bag with.
"you're welcome, love." Kei smiled, a soft smile at best. It wasn't much, but it sure was enough to make Kageyama's heart fully melt.
"I'm so gonna flex to Shoyo that I have a better boyfriend than him."
"Please don't."
"I will."
Kageyama hesitated just for a moment, then gave a quick kiss to Kei, then walked off, letting the bright red flush slowly rise to his cheeks as he quickened his pace.
