Harry nervously plays with his suit sleeves as he enters the small gym filled with paper hearts, streamers and red and pink balloons in the shape of a heart. It's cliche but as a hopeless romantic he finds it perfect.

There's a ton of couples and groups of people standing and chatting while others are dancing to, quite perfectly selected, "The Cupid Shuffle."

Harry chuckles to himself but then reminds himself why he's here. He has to find Louis.

Apparently in his severe lapse of judgment he completely forgot to ask the boy if he had a date to the dance and now he's freaking out. Of course Louis would have a date, he's literally the fucking sun, Harry thinks.

As he looks around at all the happy couples, a bunch of them being ones that him and Louis set up, he can't help but feel stupid. How could he ever think that Louis would show up stag to a VALENTINES dance?! On top of that, how could he ever think he could show up by himself and somehow magically ask Louis to dance and then kiss him and then ask him out and then five years later they're married with kids?? Not that Harry's thought about it that much... anyways, he feels stupid, especially considering he showed up in a dark red suit with black embroidered flowers on it and a ruffled black shirt underneath.

He recons he went way over the top with that one and he almost contemplates leaving right then and there. That is, until he finally spots Louis.

Louis, who is in the front of the crowd dancing in a full black suit paired with giant white cupid wings. And yeah, if Harry wasn't sure he was in love before, he certainly knows he's head over heels now.

Without a second thought, Harry is charging up to the front of the dance floor to where Louis is with the full intention of stealing him away. Luckily for him, Louis appears to be by himself.

In no time at all Harry is reaching Louis, placing his hands on the boy's hips, and pulling him in. Louis yelps in surprise but then looks up at Harry with the most breathtaking smile in the universe.

"Hi," he greets and it's quiet compared to the loud music which is now "Cupid's Chokehold" by Gym Class Heroes.

"Hi," Harry smiles down at him, "You, um, you look beautiful," he compliments with cheeks so red they could rival his damn suit.

"Thank you," Louis beams letting the crinkles by his eyes appear, "You don't look so bad yourself, Styles," he says as he runs his hands up and down Harry's biceps, "Very handsome," he adds and now Harry's not the only one blushing.

"Thanks Boobear," Harry grins with his dimples.

They look at each other like lovesick fools on the dance floor and anyone with eyes can tell what's happening between the two of them, well, everyone besides Harry and Louis.

After a long moment Harry pulls Louis over to the fold out chairs. He chuckles as he watches Louis trying to sit comfortably on the seat with his wings. Eventually, Harry decides that his lap is the best option and lifts Louis up for him to sit down on his legs.

"Better?" Harry asks.

"Much," Louis sighs happily and buries his face into Harry's neck.

Harry grips hard on Louis' waist before asking the dreaded question, "So, you uh, came alone?"

Louis lifts his head up and looks deeply into Harry's eyes, "Yes," he answers, "Did you?" he asks seeming insecure.

"Of course!" Harry is quick to say.

"Oh yeah," Louis raises an eyebrow, "And why's that?"

Harry shifts around in the chair nervously, "There wasn't exactly any time to get a date, you know, with all the Cupid stuff going on," he explains.
