Walking into Devenford Prep is about the most depressing thing ever. Except on days like today. Game day.
Tonight Devenford plays Beacon Hills High in Lax. This is the biggest game of the year rival teams all trying to win the gold for their school but only one can win. Of course that's just what the posters say. This game is the biggest drinking party of the year people get all sorts of fucked up for this game.
"Hey Vale!"
I turned around to see my best friend in the entire world. "Bret Talbot OH MY GOD the BEST lacrosse player in the entire world how does it feel to be going into such a big game tonight?" I yelled at him causing a string of laughter to come from him.
"Are you really going to say that every time we have a big game?" he asked sarcastically
I know he was waiting to hear me say I wouldn't but deep down we both knew I would never stop.
"Anyways.." I threw him sideways glare before continuing " I'll be at the game tonight so I expect you to beat the fuck out of Beacon Hills. Better be like 500 0 after like 5 minutes."
"Oh yah for sure Vale cause thats gonna fucking happen." Brett said sarcastically.
He lightly shoved the side of my shoulder as we walked down the halls together towards our classes. Brett was like the brother I never had and when I moved to America in 4th grade we were instant friends and we have never been more than that. Through everything we have always been friends and I think by this point nothing could separate us.
"Aight Vale, i'll see you later tonight at the game and make sure to wear school spirit stuff. This is our biggest game of the year." He pleaded while walking away.
"Hmmmm, I can't make any promises but I'll think about it."
~~~
School passed by in a blur of green and white colors as excitement grew for the game. Beacon Hills, where the game was going to be held was about 30 minutes away so they had a spirit bus that was gonna take a bunch of students but I decided last minute to just drive my car there that way I could stay later or leave earlier if I wanted.
Ding, ding, ding, ding
The bell that told us the day was over that meant it was time. I left school and went straight home to get ready for the game. It was supposed to be a pretty night tonight so I put on my favorite pair of LuluLemon shorts and the only green t-shirt I could find which happened to be my dads so I cut the bottom off so the end of it fell right about at my waist and hung loosely.
"Mama, I'm leaving for the game. It doesn't start till 7:30 so it should end around 10 and I'm coming home after it ends so I should be home around 11!" I shouted up the stairs.
"Okay Dcéra be careful. Beacon Hills has many secrets." She said the last part so quietly I almost didn't hear it but I ignored it because it didn't make any sense and I probably heard her wrong.
~~~
Personally I dont give a flying fuck about LAX and the rivalry I just enjoy going out to big events like this surrounded by people having fun. It took me around 45 minutes to get from Valley Hills to Beacon Hills which wasn't too bad. The game started at 7:30 and there's about 15 minutes until the game starts and the bleachers for both teams are already full.
"Hey is anyone sitting here?" I hear a girl's voice say from beside me.
"Oh no, I'm not saving it for anyone." I smiled and said to the girl.
She thanked me and came and sat next to me. She was around my height with long brown hair and dark brown eyes. She was gorgeous and seemed very nice and I've never seen her at school so I took the opportunity to meet someone new.
"I'm Valeska by the way but you can call me Vale!" I said and gave her a big smile.
"I'm Allison! I'm guessing you go to Devenford. I've never seen you at BHHS" she said, sparking up a conversation. We talked right up until game time and we watched the teams come out. Devenford came out first because they were visitors for the game. I saw Brett walk out and told Allison how he was my best friend and the only reason I was at the game.
"Just Friends??" She questioned with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.
"Yes, just friends we're like brother and sister, always have been, always will be." I told her laughing at the last part of the sentence.
"Oh here comes the Timber Wolves," Allison said in a teasing voice. I could tell her and I were going to be good friends.

Second chapter tbh idk where Im going with this story i'm really just going with what comes to me. Also thinking about doing the guys pov once I introduce him and keep that going like periodically through out the story possibly might try it see how I like it. Anyways so I obviously did not create Allisons character or Bretts but I will be changing their personalities slightly to more fit the story so yah anyways if your reading this I love you <3!!
