part 2 half way there

Few hours later
"I'm so tired and I'm hungry" atlas says leaning forward on the horse

"Were almost their now stop your whining before I break your legs" the angry sect leader says as he goes to alya "do you have anything to shut him up"

"I have some lotus pod with me I even seasoned them on the boat" the young girl said as she pulls her sachel towards her

"That'll work" he said as he was about to go ahead

"Do you want some jiu jiu?" She says holding a small bag out for him to grab

"Yes, thank you a-alya" he said grabbing the bag

"Can I have one jie jie?" The phoenix eyed sect leader asks with sparkle in his eyes

"Yup I made sure to make enough and I seasoned the way you guys like it" she says as she tosses him a bag "a-atlas, here!!" As she said that she throws it toward him

"Thank you nee-san" as catches it, he pops a seed in his mouth "how long until we reach the next town"

"Atlas manners and we'll arrive in a little bit" she says as she puts her sachel away

"If you two didn't pack so much fucking luggage then we would already be there" Jiang cheng said as he tighten his grip on the horses reigns in annoyance

"Well he maybe right but now isn't the time to start fighting let me take a look and see how far we are" after saying that a beautiful black raven stood we're alya used to be and flew up and landed on Jiang Cheng forearm as he had it out

"Be careful a-alya or ill break your fucking legs" he said as he looks at the bird and she nods and flies away

A few minutes pass
"Were is she" jin ling said in a worried voice

"There!" Atlas says as he points to the setting sky and the raven lands on the horse and turns back

"What took you so long?" Jiang Cheng asked looking at her

"I booked us two rooms at a tavern in the town it's just over the hill it should take us about 5-10 minutes to get there" she said putting her hair in a bun

"Okay brats let's speed up the suns almost down" Jiang Cheng said picking up the speed

At the tavern
"Let's eat then go to bed alright" Jiang Cheng said as he hops off his horse

"Okay jiu jiu" the trio says

"HEY GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF MY FOOD" jin ling yelled as atlas tried to snatch some of the food on his tray

"Come on don't be so stingy" atlas said sitting back down 😒

"Kazahana atlas, jin rulan" after they hear her there blood runs cold

"Yes jie jie/nee-san" they quickly say sitting upright

"Behave we aren't at lotus pier or at yanling" she said hitting their heads with her fan then began to fan herself

"Hey! Nee-san why'd you hit us" atlas asked  holding head

"She's right you guys need to learn manners that's why I'm sending you to attend the lan classes" Jiang Cheng said taking a sip of tea

"I thought we were going so you can see lan xich- HEY! What was that for" atlas said when alya hit his head again and Jiang Cheng went stiff

"Pftt- Hey!! why did I get hit i didn't even do anything" jin ling asked holding his head

"Don't think I didn't forget you" alya said rolling her eyes and fanning herself

"You know nee-san sometimes you act like a old lady" atlas said rubbing his head expecting to get hit again but when he looked at her she was stiff, still as stone she then got up

"I'm turning in for the night I'll see you guys in the morning" and just like that she goes upstairs in one of the rooms that she booked for the night

"What's up with her?" Jin ling asked staring at the spot she used to be

"I don't know, maybe she's- ow what is with everyone hitting my head" atlas asked holding the back of his head

"One your being more of a dumbass today and two mind your own damn business she's probably just worn out from today" Jiang Cheng said drinking his tea after a moment of silence

"I'm gonna turn in too goodnight" jin ling said getting up

"Thats probably a good idea, come on brat let's go" Jiang Cheng said grabbing atlas by the back of his collar

"Okay jiu jiu" atlas said letting himself be dragged along

Alya booked two rooms, two beds per room alya and jin ling in one atlas and Jiang Cheng another the two rooms are also connected (jin ling wanted to talk to alya about something and atlas is grounded, now back to the story)

Jin ling goes to the room and knocks "jie jie can I come in" hes already in his night wear, and his hair is down, it reaches to his knees as he takes great care of it

"Yeah come on in" alya says opening the door as she is already in night wear too, and her hair in a braid "do you want me to braid your hair for you" she asks sitting on her bed

"Yes please and I want to talk about something" jin ling said fiddling with his ribbons (3 in total two for his outfit and one for his hair)

"Okay come on you can tell me as I do your hair" jin ling sits in front of her

Few minutes later
"So what on your mind" she asks brushing through his hair

"I'm just so confused I'm gonna be sect leader when I turn 18 and I don't think I'm ready" he says twisting the ribbons in his hand "I don't even know what I'm gonna do when I become sect leader jie jie I'm scared"

"Hmm well don't be me and atlas will be here with you when you need us, plus I'm only one call away you know"

"Thanks jie jie" jin ling said as he realizes the ribbons are gone "where's-!!"

"And done you should let me do this more often" she said putting some of his ribbons on the night stand

"Oh thank you jie jie, it's getting late also what happened earlier you were acting weird" he asks tilting his head

"...It doesn't matter i was just feeling a bit worn out nothing serious now let go to sleep ling ling" she say as she slips under the covers

"Okay jie jie goodnight" he says laying down

"Goodnight ling ling" they fall asleep from having a long day

Another one done although its a bit shorter than intended I hope you enjoyed the ship will be here in a bit next chapter they'll arrive and there will be a lot of drama that'll come just wait anyways thank you for listening to my rant
