"Ponds, lilly pads and love"
Being invited out to a public garden sounded strange but after arriving you couldn't help but be lost to the nature surrounding you and take back your previous hesitance.
Soft beams of sun danced in the clear sky with a grin across your face to match the bright colours around you. Distanced yelling from Bakugo pulled you out of thoughts as you glanced over to see Midoriya running across the open grass field adjacent to the garden entrance. Kirishima and Kaminari attempting to reign in the angry blonde as Iida was sorting entry for the class.
After noticing the weather was due to be beautiful tomorrow you and the class debated yesterday afternoon on where to go. Since a decision was near impossible Iida and Yaoyorozu decided on anonymous voting, this had given a result of someone quiet and peaceful. Tsuyu had then piped in of suggesting a garden and here we are.
"Alright class everyone form pairs and grab a map as we go in, we shall be the prime example of UA students and show the utmost politeness and appreciation," Iida's voice boomed and echoed across the field causing a brief halting in Bakugo's relentless chasing of Midoriya allowing Kirishima and Kaminari to pin him down. The class chuckled at the display before everyone had begun to sort out who they'd pair with, the occasional group of three forming as you nonchalantly began to walk towards the entrance.
You weren't bargaining on a partner so you'd went straight to the entrance gate to collect a map, a calling of your name causing the you to pause and glance behind you. Waving at you was none other than Tsuyu Asui, a smile on her face as she greeted you.
"Shall we be partners [name]?" her hand extending to yours as you take it with no hesitation.
"Sure Tsu," you smile at her as you two make your way into the garden. Being one of the first in made it such a calm experience, no incessant yelling or fighting ruining the moment as you casually walked across the path admiring the nature as you took each step. Bushes decorated the garden as a barrier, flowerbeds laid down like train tracks as you "ooed" and "ah'd" at the various plant breeds and their vibrant colours. After using the map the two of you found yourselves at a large pond, and when I say large I mean large.
The water shone brightly with the reflection of the morning sun as you went to sit by the pond, gently dipping the tips of your fingers into the cool water. Soft buzzing of dragonflies filled your ears as Tsuyu cautiously sat beside you, eyes glancing to your smiling form, cheeks beginning to colour to the red roses you two had passed on your way to the water body.
Her right hand cautiously intertwined with your left as you look towards her in surprise. She then began to lead you towards a large will tree set beside the pond. Once approaching the two of you sat together and admired the beauty of nature together, words unnecessary.
The happy grins on your faces spoke more than needed for how you both felt. When Tsu clasped your cheeks with her palms and pressed her lips to yours it only emphasised how the two of you felt for one another.
Rosy cheeks left you both flustered at the shared kiss. Choosing to remain silent you lay your head against Tsu's shoulder as you sigh happily. Soft laughs left her lips as she soon relaxed beside you.
Soft croaking of frogs almost spoke the words for you as they hopped about on lilly pads with joy.
"I love you."
