THEA WAS WALKING THROUGH THE crowded halls of West Valley High School, her notebook tightly clutched in her arms. She felt the intrusive stares of the students and the way their eyes trailed her body intently. Feeling nervous, Thea let a strand of hair fall over her face slightly, avoiding eye contact from the other students .

She found her locker along the way and grabbed out the wrinkled sticky note that had droplets of syrup when Tony, her older (yet more immature) brother flicked his waffle at her.

Cringing at the tacky texture, Thea rubbed her hands on her pants and then put in her locker combination carefully to open her locker.

Once she finally got it open, the locker looked dusty, the colors of the steel material slowly starting to fade. Thea unzipped her backpack and put her binder in the locker, her notebook still secured in her arms.

But just as she was about to put her notebook in her locker, Thea felt the force of someone pushing down her arm, the notebook slamming loudly on the concrete.

Thea looked up, her anger starting to rise when she saw the one and only, Cobra Kai's. Dutch was the one to throw down her notebook and he laughed maniacally as he walked off to his class with laughter.

The other Cobra's followed Dutch, but when Thea was about to pick up the notebook that was on the floor, she felt her hand brush against someone else's. Looking up, Thea was met with the familiar blue eyes of Johnny Lawrence.

Johnny picked up the book slowly, his eyes not leaving hers as they both stood up from the ground. With not a word being said, Johnny walked closer to Thea, her having no choice but to back up into the lockers.

Their bodies were inches apart and Thea's heartbeat was starting to beat incessantly. Johnny gave her the notebook, leaving nothing but a straight look on his face that Thea wishes she could decipher.

He walked away from the girl, leaving a confused Thea on the locker wall and she glared at his back, not knowing what that was about.

"Weirdo," Thea muttered quietly to herself. She turned around and continued to personalize her locker and she was having a good time, listening to her Walkman. But when she felt the sudden feeling of someone tapping on her shoulder, Thea was met with the eyes of Ali.
