Tae sprawled on the stylish sofa in Janean's living room while she was doing her afternoon Yoga
He hasn't been home for several days. He wondered if Tee was worried about him. It gave him this wicked satisfaction that Tee must be alone and missing him.
He didn't know when he turned into an uncaring, insensitive asshole. Maybe since after he agreed to that indecent fucking proposal.
"I knew something like this was gonna happen."
Janean folded her legs under and stretched her torso forward, a seemingly impossible position for rest of the human kind, Tae thought absently.
"I guess you make a deal with the devil, and eventually you pay the price, right?"
She went back to a sitting position.
"Thanks, Janean."
Tae said in an acidic tone.
"Coming from the person who closed the deal with the devil, that's very comforting."
He sighed.
Rrriiing.... Rrriiing....
Janean's phone rang.
"Janean!"
"Oh, hi Tee!"
Tae lifted his head hearing Janean talking to Tee on the phone.
"I'm not here."
He said childishly, sulking.
"Yes, he's right here. You want to talk to him?"
~"No, I don't want to talk to him."~
Tee's tired voice came from the other end.
"Look sweetie."
Janean sighed.
"He loves you, you love him. I mean you got to try and work this out."
She tried to reason.
"It's all pretty simple, right."
Janean can't believe that Tae and Tee who were inseparable since young age, who faced so many obstacles but didn't give up on each other would have a problem over this one problem that absolutely can work out if they just talk it out.
Not to mention one million dollars are at stake.
"The deal is a deal, the dead is done. There's nothing I can do about it now."
~"Tell him he can keep the money. I don't want any of it."~
And he hung up.
Janean stood up, dumfounded. Who would want to just throw away that kind of money? Tee is simply going crazy.
