The Two Kinds (a Clexa story)

Chapter 19

Most of you voted for option C, so that is what I am going with. I will try to end it in a couple of chapters. It might take a while to update so bare with me, I will try to finish it before May. I hope you like it.

(Clarke's POV)

I sit on the couch with my eyes closed. I hear Lexa approaching her room. I hear the door open. I sit up and open my eyes. Lexa comes closer to me. She smiles when she sees me on the couch "Hi Clarke" she says. I smile back at her. She looks to be contemplating something as her smile dims a little. She sits on the couch next to me. "Clarke we need to talk about something?" Lexa says.

( Nighttime )

I watch Lexa as her chest rises and falls steadily on her bed. I lay next to her even though I don't sleep. I get up and walk to the balcony. I stare out into the sky. I start thinking about our conversation earlier. I knew my people would be coming for the summit, I just didn't think my mom  coming here would bother me so much. They will be hear tomorrow and would be staying for a week.

Lexa told me Mom, Marcus, Raven, Octavia, Bellamy and Lincoln would be coming. I sigh. I wish I could see them, but I decided that it is best to let them think me dead. It just doesn't make it easier. I decided to go get something to eat. I look down at the soundless ground below me. The streets are deserted as it should be, it is late after all, around midnight.

As I see no one. I jump down. The wind is whipping my hair as I fall stories below me. I touch the ground without a sound. I start blurring through the streets, I decided that I am going into the forest to eat. As I start to head out, I hear a muffled scream in a alley way near me. I jump to the roof tops and look down at the alley. There is a men and a woman. The woman has unruly red hair and sharp features. The man has shaggy black hair and covered in tattoos. She is being held down by the man as the woman's head is turned and her eyes are closed. I smile as I think this man will be my food. I already have a plan. As I still see the woman's eyes still closed.

I blur to the man bite his neck. Drain him and a blur back to the roof top in a few seconds. You would have missed it had you blinked. I watch as the man drops to the ground and the woman is shocked. She gets up and looks around. She looks up to me but I blur away from the edge and crouch, so she won't see me. After a few minutes, she decides to leave.

( Woman's POV )

I am being held down by this man. I shouldn't have come out this late, but I like to walk around at night. As I get back to reality, the man grins down at me with crooked teeth. I close my eyes and turn my head. I should have had my knives, but I didn't think I would need them, I was wrong. I then feel a quick breeze of wind and the next thing I knew, the rapist falls to the ground. I get up shocked. I look around and see no one there, I look up at the roof tops and see a flash of blonde. But as it just appears, it quickly vanishes as well. After a few minutes, I just decide to head back to the tower. I usually don't come to the summits, I just let my ambassador take care of this stuff. I just wanted to see my sister. Lexa.

( Clarke's POV )

That was close, I think as I head back to the tower. I climb the tower and jump onto Lexa's balcony. As I walk over to her bed, I see her eyes on me " where did you go?" She asks "I went to feed" I say to her. She eventually goes back to sleep. I decided to draw her, so I did.

(Morning)

I watch Lexa wake up as the sun was starting to rise. She starts getting ready for the summit as she gets ready she tells me what will be happening at the ceremony and who all will be there. All of the twelve clans ambassadors will be there to welcome the sky people as the thirteenth clan in the coalition. The twelve clans had a meeting discussing about them joining and everyone but the ice nation had voted yes.

Lexa finishes getting ready before turning to me. "Clarke after the summit and the sky people are one of my people, there is someone special I want you to meet, is that okay?" I smile and say yes. She looks excited about this. I smile knowing I had made the right decision. She kisses me before she leaves. I won't see her until tonight. I sigh as I think about all of my friends and my mom, since they will be here in a few hours. I decided to draw with the paper and coal Lexa gave to me.

(Time skip to summit)
( Lexa's POV)

I watch as the sky people became the thirteenth clan in my coalition. Marcus took the brand. After that, we began to celebrate and party. I got to see my sister Luna. I go over to talk to her. She smiles lightly when she sees me "Lexa, it is good to see you again" "yes well, I am happy to see you too sister". As we talk, she talks about what happened to her last night as she kept telling her story I began to get mad, but at the end she mentions a blur of blonde I began to think of Clarke.

She did say she had fed last night, I think with a small smile. Coincidentally I was going to introduce Clarke and Luna, but it seems they have already meet in a way. I tell Luna that I want her to meet after the party dies down later. She agrees. I went to talk politics with ambassadors of the other clans until it was time to see Clarke and show her to my sister. I know she can keep a secret.
