I Got Reincarnated As An Anime Tank Girl In The Middle of A Strange War

Red Sky (Chapter 1) (Rewritten)

The sky was a dark blood like red with a bolt of lightning streaking across the sky every so often.

An M1A3 equipped with a tusk amour package moved down the street of a modern but destroyed city. The tan beast came to a stop and swung it's turret around to aim at a derelict art supplies shop. Without a second thought the MBT put a high explosive round into the old building.

The turret did another slow turn scanning the area with it's electronic eyes.

The tank glowed a shade of blue and transformed into a human figure. The figure had amour plating all over in a tan color. The human figure looked around again. Looking behind them they gave the go ahead to seemingly no one. After a few seconds two tracked vehicles came around the corner.

First came an MBT. It resembled a late Leopard 2 in appearance with it's more round turret nose around it's 135mm smoothbore gun. It was known as the L4Mod3.

Second came a quad tracked self-propelled gun. It looked like a modernization of a T95. It's huge forward facing 175mm gun slowly moved to it's position. This was called the SPG1000.

The L4 came around and changed over to it's human form. The Abrams and L4 looked out over the destroyed city using there high firing position.

L: So... We did it.

A:Yeah, not as cleanly as hoped but we did it.

L: It's been a hell of a time.

A: Yeah. I wanted to know something.

L: Hit me with it.

A: Where did you come from?

L put a hand up and pushed a button on the bottom of there chin. The armor around there head folded up and retracted revealing there face. There over exaggerated anime length white hair that came down to there back revealed itself.

L: It's a long story.

The SPG1000 fired it's gun at the target.

A: Our only job is to protect that and to be perfectly honest I don't think we'll be seeing any action today.

L: Fair point. Alright it all began back...
