"Clay, stop I...I can't skate as good as you." The brunet yelps as the taller drags him around the rink. "Well, the only way to get as good as me is to go every week, just like I do." Clay says shrugging, showing no signs of stopping.

The poor brunet is flailing everywhere, and is only still on his feet because of the taller's strong grip. "Well, I don't want to, I want to go sit down and get something to eat." George pouts.

"Well, maybe Karl would let you, but I'm not him, so you're going to stay here and skate with me." The blond says, slowly pulling the brunet towards the wall. George's eyes brighten, thinking that the taller is finally going to let him go.

Just as they got close to an exit, the taller suddenly veered away from it. "Clay! I thought you were finally gonna let me go!" The shorter whines.

"Nope, you're not going anywhere until you skate on your own." Clay says smiling, that stupid fucking smile of his.

"Stop smiling at me." George mutters, letting go of one of the taller's warm hands.

"What was that gogy?" The taller asks, his smile still beaming. "Don't call me that!" The shorter yells. Clay swiftly moves to the left, going in the same circular movement that everyone else was going in. George yelps, and quickly grasps onto the blond's shoulder.

Something burns in his heart, as an old song starts playing over the radio.

Kiss me hard before you go

"I love this song, you know." Clay whispers, pulling the smaller closer to him.

Summertime sadness

Geore takes in a shaking breath at this new closeness. "Did I ask?" He barely manages to breathe out.

I just wanted you to know

"Baby you're the best." Clay sings along, pulling the smaller into a position to slow dance in.

George wants to push away and tell him to fuck off, since he has a boyfriend, but he doesn't. Was this wrong?

"I got my red dress on tonight." The taller continues singing in a soft voice that is sweet as honey.

"Dancin' in the dark, in the pale moonlight" Clay sings more as he places one hand on the shorters shoulder and the other on his hip, guiding them around the floor.

The blond's singing turns into soft hums as the song goes on. "Uh Clay, you know Karl's my boyfriend right?" George says still not pulling away. He feels he should.

"Yeah, I know we are just dancing, this is how you get better." The taller says, smiling. "Oh." The brunet breaths out as they quickly shift over to the exit.

"Still wanna be lame and go get something to eat?" Clay asks smirking. "Uh, yeah, I do thank you very much." The smaller says. The smirk that once rested on the younger's face disappeared.

"Oh, alright then uh, Karl texted me and said he should be here in twenty minutes, like, twenty minutes ago." The taller says sighing.

"What the hell Clay? Why didn't you tell me that twenty minutes ago?" George asks, raising his voice slightly.

"I just didn't want you to, like, you know, worry about it." The blond says looking over the older's head at something in the distance.

"Shut up. I didn't even want to be here with you." The shorter spits, pushing himself away from Clay, forgetting he had roller skates on and falling onto the floor with a crash.

"Jeez, I thought I could show you a good time, but clearly not." The younger boy says through the loud music that he had just become aware of.
