The pair walk hand in hand on the soft sandy beach each taking small licks at their own frosties. It was the most content the smaller had felt in a long time.

It felt wrong in some way as well. The taller had a girlfriend. George decides it best to speak his thoughts before they became too suffocating.

"Um Hey Clay?" The brunet breaks the silence. "Yes?" The taller asks, slowing his pace.

"Your girlfriend? She's not gonna be upset about this is she?" The smaller asks hesitantly. The blond stops walking completely.

"George. Whatever happens between me and Jen happens between me and Jen. If she gets upset at me for this, that's on me. You need to not worry about it. Here let's take the trash to that can over here and go swimming a bit, yeah?"

The smaller just nods glumly. "Hey? What's wrong? Do you not wanna go swimming? We can just keep walking on the beach if you want."

"I mean I don't not want to go swimming but I enjoyed just walking you know?" The shorter says with a frown.

"Okay then we keep walking." Clay says walking forwards.

"It's just, I feel like.. Um, I don't know." The brunet says.

"You feel like? You can tell me how you feel, I promise on my life that I will never be mad at you." The blond says looking over at the shorter, getting lost in his honey eyes.

The smaller returned the look staring into the piss eyes that he had really come to like.

"It feels wrong." The shorter whispers as Clay moves his body to be in front of the smaller frame. The taller pulls the brunet close.

"What if I break up with Jen. Then would it feel wrong?" The blond asks, putting his large hand on top of the soft fluffy curls of the boy he was holding close.

"I don't know, I just think that Karl being a bad boyfriend and cheating on me makes it feel worse as if I'm the reason you're cheating on Jen, even though you're not." George explains never losing eye contact.

"George.." Clay says softly, moving one hand to the smaller's waist and the other to cup his cheek.

"What?" The brunet asks.

"I could be a better boyfriend than him."

The smaller scoffs but doesn't move from the intimate position.

"I could do the shit that he never did." The taller continues whilst leaning closer and closer towards the small plump lips.

Suddenly a phone rings, startling the two apart. The blond takes the ringing phone out of his pocket and looks at the caller id.

He presses accept.

"Hi." Clay says into the phone.

"Where the hell are you? You left me at the party alone and you didn't tell me?" His girlfriend angrily yells.

"Listen It's fine I'm with George." The blond says with a calm voice.

"Fuck you Clay, It's always George. No Jen I can't see you right now I'm with George. Listen Clay, we're done! I might regret this in the morning but I don't care anymore! Just... just go be with George okay? I'm sorry for being so angry, I just noticed such an amazing connection between you two and It's nothing like what we had. I hope we can still be friends." The girl says her voice softens with every word.

"I- um alright, I'll see you soon then?" Clay said, frowning as tears started to silently fall down his face.

Jen scoffs and the call ends.
