" Nate, you have to leave."
Nate narrows his eyes. " What! Why?"
You sigh rolling your eyes. " Something came up, you need to go."
He stood up, heading to the front door. " Fine, but text me when you feel like explaining what's going on."
You nod, watching him leave. You start packing, grabbing clothes, a toothbrush, a pocket knife, and some food. You lock the front door behind you, and get into your truck. You start up, driving the familiar roads to Camp Crystal Lake.
I never should have given her my phone number.
You hated how you thought that. It wasn't Carrie's fault this happened, and you had no right to blame her. But deep down, you felt that things would have just been easier if Nate had never brought you to the camp in the first place.
You pull up to the main road of the camp, the familiar cabins coming into view. You stop the car, step out, and lock it behind you. You cross your arms around your chest tightly, keeping your head low while heading into the forest. Flashbacks of running through the familiar landscape come back to you, and for a moment fear shoots through you.
It's now or never. It's not too late to turn back.
You knew that wasn't true though. It was too late to turn back. As soon as you agreed to help find Norman, you had signed yourself up for something you weren't fully sure you wished to be a part of. You could see the old warn down house ( if you could even truly call it that ) that all the slashers were living in. You vaguely wondered how Iris was doing, seeing as you had left her in Danny's care. You were standing outside the old wooden door now, and for a moment you hesitated.
Well, here we go.
Your knuckles rapped against the wood, and for a second, it seemed like no one was home. But then, you heard what seemed to be someone skidding along the floor, and the door was nearly ripped off its hinges. You let out a yell, not expecting such a large....reaction?
You never get to say anything past the yell however, for a certain blonde's power had blocked the rest of your scream from leaving your lips.
