Thousands of years ago the first Night-Walker appeared on Earth.

"I do not come in peace-," the Night-Walker paused, "-I come in harmony." The Night-Walker was an unusual sight for humans. Who wouldn't think he was unusual? He was deathly pale. So pale that you could see the blue from his vein walls over where you could see his skin. His cheeks were hollow. His long black robe caught the floor whenever he moved. It was hard to see his face, but it seemed as if he had no eyes. He towered over all the humans, he was 8 feet tall after all. It was safe to say that the humans were panicking.

"I would like 10 of your most powerful leaders to come to my mansion for dinner," the Night-Walker said to the FBI official in his deep and raspy voice.

"And where is this mansion you claim to have," Lucy scoffed and rolled her large green eyes. The cold wind blew through her long fiery red hair. The Night-Walkers long black robe swayed with the wind, showing his large polished black shoes that contrasted with the long green grass. Lucy let down her guard for a split second when she smelled the sweet scent of the colorful flowers surrounding her.

"Here," the Night-Walker said boldly. Before Lucy could speak he snapped his fingers. There was a blinding blue light that came from where the Night-Walkers eyes should have been. After the light had vanished a tall magnificent mansion stood behind the Night-Walker. When the light from the moon hit the mansion the intricate carvings danced around the polished white brick.

"Very well then, I shall make arrangements for dinner tonight," the tall woman said with her eyes glazed over.

Later that night 10 very powerful world leaders stood on the doorstep of the Night-Walker. They were in awe of the building they stood in front of. They all had a mutual understanding that if they didn't get along and behave there was a large possibility that they wouldn't make it out alive tonight. The first leader stood bold and brave, she rang the doorbell. After waiting for a minute or two the second leader, who was impatient and greedy, opened the door. The others stood there in shock. Most were worried about the rude and abrupt action the second leader had made.

"Do not fret my guests, you are in no trouble at all," the Night-Walker said walking to the door. "I suppose all of you are hungry, follow me to the dining hall," he had said kindly. If he had not been so threatening-looking you may have called him kind and warm-hearted.

When they had arrived at the dining room there were dozens of silver platters with lids lining the table. It smelled heavenly, all the group wanted now was to feast.

"Take any seat you please. After dinner we shall discuss the issue at hand," the Night-Walker spoke. The group nodded and took their seats. Servants then came in and lifted the lids to the grand platters. Once the lids were off the smell hit them. Now more than ever did they want to feast upon the food that lay in front of them. Each item seemed as if the servants had carefully tended to each one. The group immediately dug in, savoring every flavor.

"What is in this?" world leader one had happily exclaimed.

"It is a delicacy in my realm, we call it human-harvest," the Night-Walker exclaimed happily. It brought the strange creature joy to talk about his home, he was already feeling homesick.

"You're kidding me right," one of the leaders said, dropping all formality.

"Why would I joke about something true," the Night-Walker replied back confused and hurt. Then it clicked with the Night-Walker. These were the odd humans that the farmers speak of. The Night-Walker no longer wanted to go home, he wanted to stay on Earth, but the humans didn't need to know that "Shall we start the discussion," he asked mischievously.

"We shall," leader number one said. The others looked at her as if she were insane. They all held the same face. One of horror.

"We shall NOT, I am leaving," World leader number two said, getting up from his seat.

"No you're not," the Night-Walker stated. A click was heard in the silent room. The Night-Walker had snapped his fingers. Foam was forming at the 2nd leader's mouth. He then fell over on the ground and started gasping for air. It was a sight to see for the Night-walker. The pathetic little human was gasping on the floor and flopping around like a small fish out of water. It brought the Night-Walker amusement, to say the least. When the creature got bored of watching the human, he snapped his long boney fingers once again and within seconds his pulse was gone. He had died. The servants entered the room, only to carry the body out of the room. No one objected after that.

"What should we discuss," the third leader asked in terror.

"How about...-" the Night-Walker asked himself, "How about how you will be my dinner," the Night-Walker resumed. Everyone was still, knowing that if they did anything their death would be more painful. The Night-Walker pulled his hood down to reveal a pale, eyeless face.

"Let's play a little Russian Roulette," he said, now walking around the table slowly. No one dared to object. The pale creature snapped his fingers and the same blinding blue light came back. Then a gun appeared in his hands. All that was heard from the house that night were the screams of the 9 most powerful world leaders.

After that incident, more Night-Walkers came. Over the years more and more odd creatures came, and the human population only got smaller and smaller. Soon only a small group of 3000 humans were left. The Night-Walkers knew of their existence, but not where they were located. In order to survive Night-Walkers genetically engineered human meat, it's the same thing that they ate when they lived in their own realm. Once a year 10 humans were found by a creature called D-Dog. The D-Dogs' only purpose was to find humans, although they were blind, they were incredibly accurate. The human population only gets smaller and smaller each year due to new diseases, that is until they found Matthis.
