ALI'S POV

Over the last 9 months, me and Bruno found out we were having a baby girl, whom we have decided to call Lizzy.

I woke up this morning to Bruno, talking to my stomach, as per usual. I didn't want him to stop so I kept pretending I was asleep.

B: "You know, I think your gonna be just as beautiful as your mami and you should definitely take that as a compliment because your mami is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Of course, you'll have all my amazing personality traits, but that's besides the point. The point is that no matter what, you and your mami will be the most important people in my life!"

I just wanted to get up and hug him but I also didn't want to interrupt him. So I pretended to wake up.

B: "I'm sorry, Mi vida! I didn't wake you again, did I?"
Al: "No, amor. You didn't wake me, it's nice to wake up like this."
B: "good, because I don't plan on stopping!"

We both giggled. He climbed back up onto the bed and played with my hair. I just stared into his eyes.

B: "I'm so glad I married you.... Your the most beautiful girl I've ever met."
Al: "Bruno..... that's sweet."
B: "Only for you, mi amor. I love you."
Al: "I love you too, mi vi-!"

I suddenly felt a gush of water. And I immediately shot up. I then got a pain in my stomache.

Al: "PEPA! JULIETA!"
B: "MI AMOR! WHATS THE MATTER?!"
Al: "I THINK MY WATER BROKE!"
B: "OH SHI-!"
P: "IM HERE!"
J: "ME TOO!"

Pepa and Julieta helped me to the birthing room in the casita. They layed me onto the bed and went to grab some towels and tell Bruno to calm down.

P: "Okay, Ali. I need you too calm down for me."
Al: "I can't...... I-Im not r-ready."
J: "Yes you are, your going to be a great mother!"
Al: "I-I can't d-d-do this...."
P: "Yes you can, this is the hardest part! Trust us!"

Abuela Alma then came in with a doctor, then leaving the room. The doctor told me to start pushing so I did. Then..... I heard it. The cries and that's when I knew my little Lizzy was born.

The doctor gave me my baby and I just cried. Pepa and Julieta awed at her. She was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen. Suddenly a very worried Bruno came in through the door. He just stopped and stared at me. He began to cry. He walked over to me and smiled at her, he kissed the top of her head and turned to me.

B: "You did so good, mi amor."

He kissed me and I kissed him back. Suddenly, Lizzy started to open her eyes. She had beautiful glowing green eyes just like Bruno. I smiled and laughed quietly.

Al: "Hello, Mi vida! Your so beautiful."
B: "Just like your mami!"

I looked up at Bruno.

Al: "Mi amor, would you like to hold her?"
B: "I-I don't know. W-What If I b-bring her bad luck?!"
Al: "Amor! She's got your genes! And your not bad luck."

Bruno took her from my arms and cradled her just smiling at her little cubby face.

P: "Okay.... I think Mrs Madrigal here needs to get some rest."
J: "Okay, Bruno.... Come on bring little Lizzy with you. We'll help get her into some nice clothes and a diaper."
B: "Sleep well, mi amor...."

Bruno kissed my forehead and left with Pepa and Julieta. I then slowly drifted to sleep.
